It is with significant disappointment that I must share my recent experience with a particular service provider. I opted to test their advertised 4vCPU and 8GB RAM offering by purchasing a one-month subscription for $8 USD. Regrettably, more than a full week has elapsed since my payment, and I have yet to receive either a refund for the unused service or the server resources that were provisioned.

While I understand that occasional issues can arise, the primary source of my current dissatisfaction stems from the provider's response to my inquiries. I diligently awaited a resolution, only to have my support ticket abruptly closed without any substantive communication or resolution, not even an acknowledgment of the issue. The service is still showing active on their platform, a server that for all intents and purposes I don't know its IPV4 address. This action has exacerbated the situation and has led me to believe that a more cautionary approach is warranted.

Based on this firsthand encounter, I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution. My personal experience has led me to recommend steering clear of this particular service provider. Please note that this assessment is purely based on my individual interaction and may not reflect the experiences of all users.

We sincerely apologize for the experience and the lack of communication regarding your issue. We’re reviewing your case to resolve the provisioning or refund issue as soon as possible. This is not the experience we want our customers to have, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

I am writing to request the immediate reopening of ticket [Ticket #MBN-017087 - I cant access a VPS I just paid for.] on your website. Despite my cancellation days ago, the server remains active. This indicates a lack of resolution regarding my cancellation and refund. I am observing a concerning pattern of refund-related issues within this thread, prompting me to question the legitimacy of your service.

To reiterate, I have already messaged you again to reopen the aforementioned ticket. I require a refund for the $8 fee and no longer wish to retain the server.

    Hello,

The refund tickets are handled by different people; I will ping them once for this.

    Hi all,

A quick heads-up for Servitro customers.

Our IP ranges have so far been announced under the ASN of our UK entity. Servitro now operates under our US company, Cyvra LLC, so we are moving our network announcements to the US entity. The first step will happen today or tomorrow.

    What this means for you:

    • Your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses stay exactly the same. No action is needed on your side.
    • Your VPS, data and configuration are not touched.
    • While the routes switch over, some networks may see a short interruption or a few minutes of packet loss until routing settles.

Once the new ASN is fully set up there will be one more short switch, which we will announce in advance.

If you notice anything unusual afterwards, please open a ticket and include an mtr or traceroute to your VPS.

The rest of our infrastructure is stable and is not affected by this change.

    Thanks for your patience,
    Servitro

Update: the network change mentioned above will not happen today or tomorrow. We have moved it to November and will post the exact date here in advance.

Until then nothing changes: your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and your VPS keep running as they are, and no action is needed on your side.

    Thanks,
    Servitro

Will the offer price still apply next year, or will the price change?
    not accept paypal?...

  • $12/year for a Frankfurt VPS is hard to beat. Is IPv6 included by default, and how is the peering to the rest of the EU? Would use it as a small EU node for latency tests and a personal project.
