    Yeah, I guess so. In my opinion, don't rely too much on design skills. That's one reason everything ends up looking the same. You could use reference websites from award-winning designs on Awwwards, or prototype with your own ideas. You could also tell AI to use the information from those skills as guidance without strictly following them. use Markdown files to document every prompt, decision and piece of information in detail. Organise them with date-based names, including the month and year. It helps a lot when modernising a project. But as I said before, it has lost its soul.

    When @jbiloh added the leaderboard, I thought it was over. It looked completely sloppy and generic. Anyways, it got removed. It was a good idea, but I hope it comes back in the same style as the rest of the site. Also, nice to see I was the third person on the leaderboard!

    Im defintely going to add and work on the OG layout and just breath a little bit of spacing into it and just add those QOL features. Ill pull the sidebar back out too. I can see why people like it. Its got OG flavor. Someone did it by hand.

    Is there something you would like added to the site as a feature you havnt had time for that doesn't involve database modifications? Im totally down to work on it. Fun weekend project for me.

    It looks more like an email client in this design. A little more compact with burger menu would fit well.

    I actually think I based one of the design skills from an email client I really liked at one point. its been used over time and it has all kinds of influence in it. haha.

    You know, nothing inherently! Its a bit dated, it was missing a few features and I didn't want to take away from its layout or the way it does things either, so I would say 95% of it is still here. I think the added features like, hover on user cards, how you can hide threads youve seen and a few others.

    I could even rework it and keep the OG styling and just add the features too and maybe add a little bit of spacing. The dark mode gets closer, the V2 mode matches LEB.

    Yeah I'm not going to natively block ads on someone elses community based site. You can do that with your own ad blockers. Thats not something that needs to be in an extension like this. lol.

    Make it block the ad garbage too and it could be actually more useful.

    I don't see the benefit in retouching the UI aesthetics. There are quality-of-life features you could have done - there is another userscript floating around that lets you mute most comments in the "post invoice # to double the spam" threads.

    There is utility in an "ignore thread" feature where you can say "Yeah this looks boring, I want to hide this thread so that whenever I visit the site next I don't even see it in the thread view and don't have to think about whether or not I care" (like threads from colocrossing resellers / MJJs complaining about getting banned, scammed, or scammed and banned).

    Those are real QOL improvements. Color-coded buttons for new posts is, pardon my Norwegian, bullshit. Vanilla already exposes a feature to highlight threads with replies - there's a damn bright yellow label with the number of unread replies there.

    The biggest problem with modding LET is that you are forced to play DOM Parsing games because the Cloudflare WAF blocks access to all of the *.json endpoints that you could have used for easier DOM reconstruction.

    You can do that with your own ad blocker. No need for me to try and build that into this. Not sure why everyone is asking for that. Every browser has a adblocker in it. On smaller forums like this, the ads give character and are hilarious. How else would you find all the funny host names.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback and giving your opinion. It has a hide if seen feature in it already. Its not for you and thats ok.
