On windows servers "Task Manager" will start not responding
How much storage are we talking about?
It's always about bandwidth.
7 PB atleast?
Missed the insider joke. How much bandwidth do you need?
7 PB? Let me check if we can fit another data center in the rack
Just the word "Unmetered..." right? @averagedatahoarder
Now i get it, unfortunately unmetered traffic isn't possible for us in Frankfurt rn
That's the way to do it
top would show a process named
ghosteating 100% CPU, and every time I runkill -9, it just replies: 'I was here first.'First sign: you SSH in and the MOTD says “Last login: 13 minutes from now”, while
htopshows a process namedpoltergeist.serviceusing 66.6% CPU and your cron has a new job:* * * * * echo "get out" >> /var/log/syslog💀👻The first sign it's possessed: the MOTD greets me with 'Welcome back, mortal,' a cron job appears that just appends 'get out' to syslog every minute, and uptime insists the server has been up for 666 days — on a server I only installed yesterday. 👻 Thanks for the giveaway!
SSH login banner:
Last login: Oct 13 1313 13:13:13 from 13.13.13.13@Hostishere I'll take 1PB storage 10Gbps unmetered bw for $12.99 a month thank you very much
But I'd maybe settle for 500TB @ 2.5Gbps unmetered if unmetered is truly unmetered
first sign would be ssh greeting me with 'boo' instead of the usual motd, and the Frankfurt 7950X3D box suddenly reporting 666 days uptime lol
Order confirmed! Estimated delivery: Halloween 2038

seems like all those mjjs are using the same ai to generate jokes
Hmm, i think I will start my praying if the server starts replying in Latin whenever it hits a kernel panic.
