  • The first sign: the VPS starts answering pings from an IP that was never assigned — and the uptime graph shows 100% during a power outage.

    g time catch u

  • The first sign? My load average hits 6.66 at exactly 3 AM, and top shows a process called "ghostd" using 0% CPU but 100% of my courage. Every time I SSH in, the MOTD just says "I'm still here." 👻 Thanks for the giveaway — count me in!

  • 10G shared port, but the bandwidth is not specified?

  • The first sign would be SSH greeting me with “Welcome back… I've been expecting you” — and my backups mysteriously restoring themselves from 1666. Thanks for the giveaway! 🎃

  • top showed a process called "ghost" using 0% CPU and 100% of my soul, owned by a user named "boo".

  • First sign it's possessed? ls -la shows a file named .boo owned by root, last lists a login from "ghost" on tty666 at 3:33 AM, and my shell prompt quietly changes to "root@haunted:~#". Thanks for the giveaway, Hostishere!

  • If your VPS turned into a haunted server on Halloween, what would be the first sign that it's possessed? 💀

On login, the server says mentally strong servers don't allow login of their users

  • The first sign would be uptime reporting 666 days on a VPS I only created yesterday — and the fanless server somehow starts whispering. Thanks for the giveaway! 🎃

Mysterious background process named poltergeist.d starts whispering your real name into the kernel logs. >:)

Every time I SSH into it, the MOTD changes to 'I know what you did last deployment.' And htop shows a mysterious process named 'boo.sh' consuming exactly 666% of that Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU.

  • The first sign? uptime starts counting down — and something keeps whispering my root password back to me in the SSH login banner.

  • The first sign? uptime shows 666 days, all my cron jobs have quietly moved themselves to 3:33 AM, and the server starts opening its own support tickets — every single one titled "I hunger for more RAM." 👻

  • I use kill -all :D

  • When I run sudo kill -9 and the terminal replies: You have no power here, mortal💀🎃

I'd know it's haunted when rm -rf starts asking "Are you sure? I live here..." 👻

  • gosh, those MJJs probably share a geepeetea subscription

  • First sign: my VPS starts replying to ping with 'boo' at 3am, and htop shows a process called ghostd eating 100% CPU but using 0 memory — because ghosts don't need RAM.

  • 🤖

  • I shut it down, but the invoice kept coming back from the dead.

  • The first sign it's possessed: htop suddenly shows a zombie process called belial consuming exactly 666% CPU, and when I try kill -9, the terminal whispers 'permission denied by Satan'. 🎃 Thanks for the spooky 7950X3D giveaway, count me in!

seems like all those mjjs are using the same ai to generate jokes

Come on, some people are actually putting effort into their jokes... or at least their prompts :D

  • The first sign? The load average hits 6.66 at exactly 3:33 AM, and top shows a process named "previous_owner" that nobody started — and it cannot be killed.

  • First sign it's possessed: every time I SSH in, the MOTD greets me with 'Welcome back, mortal' and htop shows a process called phantomd quietly eating 666% of that 7950X3D. I'd still put it to work running monitoring probes and a personal WireGuard endpoint if it doesn't bite. Count me in, thanks for the spooky giveaway!

First sign my VPS is possessed? I type ping and it replies with "boo" instead of "pong". 🎃 Happy Halloween, and thanks for the giveaway!

Exactly! Those jokes looks the same or very very similar

  • My server fixes its own bugs, calls the bug a feature, and reports every status as healthy.

Can it fix my bugs? I have got plenty.

  • First sign: SSH MOTD says "boo mortal", top shows a process named ghost at 666% CPU, and kill -9 replies "you first." Thanks for the Halloween giveaway!
