Digital Realty Miami Holding Company Assets – No Response Since August 17th

brc_csfbrc_csf Member

Writing this here in hopes of getting traction or reaching a Digital Realty / Hivelocity representative who can help us finalize a simple hardware dispatch that has stalled through standard support channels.

Background:
We have been QuadraNet Miami customers continuously since 2011. Even after migrating all our active workloads off the infrastructure, we maintained and renewed our account without interruption—including through Hivelocity's acquisition—specifically to facilitate the retrieval of our hardware assets. The footprint was subsequently transitioned to Digital Realty.

Timeline & Issue:

  • Ref Ticket: Hivelocity #1306704 / Email thread with Digital Realty MIA team.
  • August 17, 2026: The Digital Realty Remote Hands Manager at MIA10 explicitly confirmed in writing that our box of SSD drives was located, verified, and ready to ship. He provided the box dimensions ($14'' \times 16'' \times 12''$, 25 lbs) and requested a prepaid shipping label.

    • August 17, 2026 (Same Day): We replied immediately, stating we were ready to generate the label, and requested the exact loading dock/pickup address, site contact phone number, and internal reference number required for the courier.
  • Since August 17: Complete silence. We followed up on Sept 3 and Oct 20 asking for those dock details so we could issue the label, but have received zero response.

Holding verified company-owned assets and going silent for over 70 days is completely unacceptable.

You emailed them a few times and that's it? No calls, nothing?

    They don't respond.

We've have the exact same issue at BuyVM since Christmas 2025. The week of Christmas of last year they email us telling us we need to move to another floor since they're decom'ing the quadranet cage. We tell them 'no, we need a minute to plan this out'.

That turned into radio silence where they only started replying to us in August/September of this year. They're looking to finally get things going in the next month or so, but its been pretty awful.

We're needing remote hands and we haven't been able to get any assistance either.

    Been a bad time.

Not surprising. Digital Realty is an absolute disaster.

We used to be ColoHouse/Hivelocity customers that were migrated to Digital Realty Miami directly and it took months of following up for them to finally acknowledge our cancellation/termination request since they kept on ghosting us.

We had literally no access to any portal, no point of contact for remote hands, and basically no one that we could contact at the Miami datacenter in case of any issues. We tried to ask for a new cross connect and were basically ghosted. Tried to ask for a new rack and the pricing they quoted us was ridiculous.

The communication regarding the migration from Hivelocity -> Digital Realty was crazy bad. Our experience was on the good side of things, as @Francisco mentioned, I believe there are a bunch of ex-QN customers that needed to migrate all of their equipment to another floor but luckily we didn't need to do that (I guess because we were ColoHouse customers?)

Seems like everything relating to Digital Realty Miami has been incredibly disorganized.

That'd make sense if you were with ColoHouse. The Quadranet cage was pretty messy/bad shape. They were supposedly shutting it down and i'm assuming reclaiming the entire floor for other usage.

I dunno, we have a node down for 2 days now and they aren't responding. We don't have a portal login, so I'm having to call/email random sales reps and hope they relay.
