DE location vps still unusable...
And this has been going on for three weeks now.
Paid money for nothing.
Hi @DeluxHost , could you take a look at ticket #TMUYCZT5M14JF when you have a moment?
I ordered a Z-1 on October 7th and haven't managed to use it yet. It's the same storage issue a few others have mentioned here: the disk stops responding and journald dies from write timeouts. Your team spotted it quickly and confirmed on the 13th that the VPS would be moved to a healthy node.
It looks like that move hasn't happened yet. My old SSH key still worked when the server came back this week, and it started failing again shortly after. I've asked about a refund in the ticket, but I'm happy either way, whatever is simpler on your end.
You've all been very kind throughout, I know things have been busy. Thanks!
My server is down for many weeks. My tickets are waiting for many weeks. TMV5DRPJ33FAP . Disk access failed often. I ask for fix, then for refund, but ticket still without answer. It s realy bad.
The same experience as me
@DeluxHost This is D. And I mean...

I have a big problem, no response from support

ticket TMVPCKRBOKR25 - ordered a vps, but it's not online, the label "Os installation - in progress" for more than 16 hours - what a joke..... i've never seen this before. what a shame
I’ll check it shortly, I just took a look and it appears that many VMs were created on a node that shouldn’t have been active, don’t worry, we’ll resolve the situation soon.
There will be some news today, and an email will likely arrive.
Many tickets have been answered; we are currently finishing up responses to some of you.
when my vps will be moved?? 3 days listing soon soon😒
Hi @DeluxHost ,
Could you please take a look at my refund ticket TMVQMMZYITCIO?
I purchased a STORAGE-2 VPS on October 27 and encountered severe performance issues during initial testing.
I requested a refund shortly after purchase, submitted the cancellation request as instructed by support, and provided all the requested payment information.
However, I haven't received any further updates regarding the refund.
I would really appreciate it if you could help check the status with your billing team.
Thank you for your assistance!
I waited 13 days for my refund, so please be patient haha
Since this offer is up, here's my experience as a DeluxHost customer with six VPSs.
12 tickets in under two months. Since 4 September I've had to open:
Early September: storage on three Z-4 VPSs froze for 20 to 70 minutes at a time, fully stalled for over half of each day. The F-4 ran at 36 to 52% CPU steal. All documented with per-minute monitoring in #TMULCTBQ5KZCM.
28 to 29 September: support proposed migrating the affected VPSs and promised to update me. Then silence for a week, with my follow-ups unanswered, until I chased them again on 5 and 6 October.
After the migrations: still 6 to 14% CPU steal, about 4% packet loss with 450 ms round trips on four VPSs, all six unreachable for 90 minutes on 7 October, and two VPSs down completely from 12 October.
12 October: in #TMULCTBQ5KZCM, support offered me a choice, and wrote: "In that case we'll refund the unused part of the current billing period for the VPSs you choose." I accepted that same evening, listed the amounts, and sent my bank details. The same day I opened #TMV5OXWOTQJBZ for the EUR 36 of remaining account credit.
15 October: I asked them to confirm in #TMULCTBQ5KZCM. No reply.
18 October: they closed #TMULCTBQ5KZCM. Still no reply, no confirmation, no refund.
27 October: 15 days after I asked, they answered #TMV5OXWOTQJBZ by refusing to refund the EUR 36 credit, citing a 12-hour refund window. That credit belongs to the same VPSs they had already agreed to cancel and refund. Both tickets are open again, waiting on DeluxHost.
So: a refund offered in writing by their own staff, accepted the same day, then ignored, the ticket closed, and the credit kept. DeluxHost, you can look up #TMULCTBQ5KZCM and #TMV5OXWOTQJBZ yourselves. I have the full ticket history and monitoring data if you want to dispute any of this here.
If you're considering them, ask yourself what happens when something goes wrong and you need support to follow through.
what ticket id?
will check asap
@DeluxHost
I see you're active in this thread, so I'll ask again.
On 12 October your staff offered, in writing in #TMULCTBQ5KZCM, to refund the unused part of the billing period if I cancelled. I accepted the same day. Since then: no confirmation, a reminder ignored, the ticket closed without a reply, and the EUR 36 credit in #TMV5OXWOTQJBZ refused.
Both tickets are open. What's needed is simple:
That's EUR 132.51 in total. I'll post an update here once it's been paid
I've read the history of your tickets, and it seems like you've often opened multiple tickets on the same day, which inevitably leads to slowdowns in a system that already has many tickets, although obviously, that's not what we want.
But still, I think we've been pretty honest with you, explaining that for your use, such cheap servers are definitely not what you're looking for, so offering you, even if we weren't obligated to, an additional refund window.
No one said you won't get anything, but spamming the same message in different posts, I don't know what that might actually bring, as you wanted you to have servers with SLAs that you're certainly unlikely to get from something you pay 18€ a year.
If I'm wrong, let me know.
You will still have one last reply to the ticket shortly and we will decide together what to do, not here on LET, but in the ticket.
@DeluxHost There is nothing left to "decide together". You already decided, on 12 October, in writing: "In that case we'll refund the unused part of the current billing period for the VPSs you choose." I accepted that offer the same evening. That was over two weeks ago.
Let's go through your points.
Multiple tickets. Every ticket was a separate problem on your side: a VPS that wouldn't activate, an install stuck in verifying, an Anti-DDoS profile dropping our traffic, disks freezing for over an hour, 55-65% CPU steal. A slow queue doesn't explain why #TMULCTBQ5KZCM was closed on 18 October with my questions unanswered. Slow is late. Closed without a reply is ignored.
"Not for your use." Agreed. That's exactly why we took your cancellation offer instead of asking you to fix anything further. I'm not asking for an SLA. I'm asking for the refund you offered.
"Not obligated." You made the offer. Whether you had to is beside the point once it's in writing and accepted.
"No one said you won't get anything." Your reply in #TMV5OXWOTQJBZ on 27 October said exactly that about the EUR 36 credit: it stays on the account.
Spamming. I'm posting here because the ticket route produced silence. If the tickets had been answered, this thread wouldn't exist.
Since September you've told me "we will migrate", "we will improve", "we will refund". Where are the results? Not one of those promises has been delivered without me chasing it, and the few improvements I did see only came after weeks of chasing.
Process the EUR 132.51 and confirm it in #TMULCTBQ5KZCM. When that's done, I'll say so here.
As mentioned, I think we were more than honest and willing to accommodate you by offering you a refund. It certainly could have been handled better, but nothing was denied, and I asked the team to take care of your case as soon as possible.
Let me know for any problem.
@DeluxHost I'm giving up on the issues above, requested a refund in #TMV9N6MTHV8GN
Giving into consideration that service was not provided as described and was in stable state for 0 (zero) days it's basically have ground for claim on the payment system. I don't have any intention to harm your with additional chargeback dispute fees so I just kindly ask to process the refund quietly and in full.
Can confirm: I have both the Standard-1 and promotional T-1 VPS for dev purposes. When it comes to stability, both are basically the same. Honest review: I got fed up with having to reboot my VPS a few times a week, so I set up a cron job that reboots my VPS every night at a specific time. Yes, I know but it works for me. They're about to expire and I'm not renewing anyway.
DeluxHost, I appreciate you for the awesome prices, but after a year of light use I have to move on since the server/connection is too unstable, even for running a single-user VPN server - with or without the DeluxHost firewall.
If you need a cheap development VPS in NL with a fixed IP and don't mind occasional downtime and troubleshooting, then DeluxHost is for you. Otherwise any other provider will do if you pay a little extra.
how deluxe are thes vps's
TMVK1LXSZ4E8W can you check the ticket and help me with the issue?
A really horrible supplier!
Please take a look at ticket #TMVR4TRLDF4JK
I couldn't use the VPS. It's the same storage issue a few others have mentioned here on Z-4.
Still not resolved:
