When the sales is final, I think this should be the case. I have had experience with them ordering the wrong SKU, tempted to push the cancel button. Instead, I raise a ticket and get store credit.
I hope OP will become more reasonable customer in the future and ask questions first

WHMCS makes it worse. They set immediate by default if you cancel.
That is why we never auto-cancel, even when a client cancels any service by selecting immediate.
We first suspend with a warning of immediate selection, then wait a few days, and then we cancel it.
