Quick question: do you proactively review stored objects, or only look into things when a report comes in? I'll be serving it behind a reverse proxy, so I assume you wouldn't be the one receiving any complaints—just want to confirm how that works.

We don't proactively review the contents of stored objects. We investigate when an abuse report or legal notice is received.

For now I only need around 1.2TB. Can I easily add more storage later? And what’s the port speed for downloads/egress?

  • we need cheaper and cheaper offers )

  • Hi,

I just placed an order for the Standard plan.

Could you please apply the promo upgrade to unmetered egress for order number 6addd2669a816?

If there is still capacity available, I would also really appreciate having the service provisioned in the France location.

    Thanks!

@systemfreaks heya, I wish your crypto currency payment gateway provided more options like $USDT. $BTC transaction fees are high comparing to them, and these will be stable coins ($1USDT almost always equals to $1) so I believe it'll be win-win for you as well.

You can add more storage later. Port speed is not limited, and each egress gateway has a 10 Gbit/s connection. Therefore, the maximum download speed is 10 Gbit/s per download, whether you access the files directly or through our CDN,

Demand in Europe has been higher than expected, so we’re currently prioritizing orders over 10 TB.

If you need more than 10 TB of storage in Europe, feel free to contact us. Smaller buckets will have to wait until stock becomes available again on the order form.

I’m also working on a page that will monitor stock live, giving you a better chance of ordering as soon as capacity becomes available.

So I can use it for my personal media library and store the ISOs for my family use?

Both observations are correct. The test file sits on our BETA nodes. They are more than 1 year old and we are actively decommissioning them. At the moment they push about 25 Gbit/s, mostly old storage moving locally to the new nodes, so reads from the old nodes are slow until that is done. I suggest you check again in a few minutes to an hour, once the decommission completes.

So, using my OVH server in Frankfurt with 4 connections, I get about 150 Mbit for uploads and a maximum of 10 Mbit for downloads. When I access the website directly, I get higher speeds, but unfortunately I end up getting an “Invalid CSRF token” error. Is that supposed to happen?

  • Ok, tested the small storage I ordered (100GB) and get about 70.7 Mbit/s to download from s3 to an OVH CA BHS vps via rclone s3.

Small buckets get a chance in Europe again. We opened a 40 TB pre-order pool for orders under 10 TB.

    • Delivery in about 30 days, or earlier when the pool is full.
    • Billing starts on the day we deliver, not the day you pay.
    • 10 TB and more: priority delivery or earlier when the pool is full.

Why a pool: we always keep a margin and never oversell. S3 clusters must grow in careful steps, so the pool tells us how much hardware to add.

    👉 Order Europe (pre-order) (https://manager.systemfreaks.com/order/config/index/S3-Compatible-Object-storage/?group_id=38&pricing_id=3752)

    Canada delivers as usual.
