Fourplex VPS Pricing Update Effective November 1, 2026

Dear Customer,

First, thank you for choosing Fourplex and for trusting us with your business and hosting needs. We truly appreciate your business and are committed to providing reliable, high-performance hosting and connectivity at an exceptional value.

Over the past year, the cost of the infrastructure required to operate our services including servers, power, and data center resources has increased significantly. These increases have been driven in part by the rapidly growing demand for computing capacity associated with AI and hyperscale cloud infrastructure.

After carefully evaluating our costs and our commitment to maintaining the quality and reliability of our services, we will be adjusting our Ryzen VPS pricing effective November 1, 2026 for existing services or October 1, 2026 for new services.

While we recognize that any price increase affects our customers, we have worked to keep the adjustment as modest as possible while continuing to deliver the performance and reliability you expect from Fourplex.

New Ryzen VPS Pricing

Ryzen VPS Plan Memory Size Existing Price New Price
VPS S 1GB $3.50 $5.00
VPS M 2GB $6.00 $8.00
VPS L 4GB $12.00 $16.00
VPS XL 8GB $24.00 $32.00
VPS 2XL 16GB $48.00 $64.00
VPS 3XL 32GB $96.00 $128.00

If you are currently on a promotion, it will be applied on top of the new price.

@Fourplex

I just ordered a VPS last week, and now this is happening.

  • I suspect this will become the MO with a lot of low-end providers. Don't encourage long-term payment, and then jack prices shortly after running a promo.

The biggest issue is the RAM shortage.

When we first ordered servers, they cost $2500. Now they cost $7500. RAM alone is now the most expensive component, whereas in the past it was the barebones.

  • why website is down today?

if you follow that logic, then the prices for vps would also have to go up by a factor of 3 (300%). but the prices are only going up by 43%! hmm...

I think is understandable, RAM's costs more than gold right now

  • Their WHMCS got deleted.

  • @Fourplex What's goin on?

They hosted their WHMCS on another provider and that provider deleted the VM running their WHMCS.

  • ...or did ingocnet triple the prices too (they didn't, i know!), and then fourplex quickly took off?

tbh i have a probably unprofitable vm with incognet and sometimes feel a little guilty about it...however, everything is OOS anyway

At least they keep the discount. Sounds faire to me in the view of inflation.

And how is an already active customer affected by new ram prices? Do you switch their server hardware every few months? There are also customers who don't renew their service so you can place new customers with the risen prices on old hardware. Small providers make low-end offers and after they got some customers they raise their prices for all customers. Personally I avoid such hosters in the future. Could you explain my initial question please

Because faulty ram get replaced. But, I think the main force is storage, because they have to be replaced every 3Y . And ideally you want the raid member to fail at different time

Probably because the cost of new hardware is far greater than the price increase and they need to offset the cost somehow.

So what? Already existing hardware was bought for different prices.

Sorry but I still don't understand it. Hardware bought for as example 2500 dollar and customers already are on this server and paying for it. Only valid argument for me would be if the hardware is leased and the owner is raising prices but afaik this was not mentioned by @Fourplex

    Well,
    1. The SSDs in that server will eventually need replaced, and will probably cost a substantial portion of what the server originally costed, especially U.2s
    2. The business needs to purchase more hardware to expand, and doing so now requires 3x the funds. Increasing prices by 40% doesn't cover the deficit, so you either a) increase the prices on all customers, b) increase the price of new servers by a much larger amount (hetzner), c) absorb the losses
    3. The cost of datacenter space and power is constantly going up
