Are there any regions that are at risk of being shutdown if GreenCloud cannot maintain finances i.e Sydney recently.

I vaguley remember them saying they were barely making any profit in Amsterdam and Frankfurt. However, I’m not sure whether they’ll actually shut down those locations.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

THEY JUST ADDED FRANKFURT TO BUDGET WDYMMMM NNOOOO

Sorry I meant to post on the black friday thread. Too many green dinosaurs. @Mods could you move my post?

It reminded me that GreenCloud birthday is coming up :D

Next week cant come soon enough - I've got the champagne ready to pop, and a hole burning in my wallet just waiting to buy some more idlers that I don't totally need.

  • I'm betting it'll be announced Sunday or Monday

  • Can you migrate a Budget VPS I wonder?

  • Why do you block requests to your website from ASN 36352 IPs?

Probably filtering datacenter IPs. Turn your VPN off, and the site should load fine.

    lovely, thank you

For regular plans, its $3 to change locations, and for promo plans its $10.

You can only change US to US, EU to EU, and within APAC, only within the same country. At least for promo plans. They may be more lenient for regular plans, since that restriction is listed under promotional plans.

Its listed in the terms of service.

Looking for the cheapest Windows VPS that supports bringing my own license (BYOL)

  • rjchawkrjchawk Member

Humm ... we're past when I expected the sale to hit .... maybe my guess was wrong, or maybe they're not doing it agin this year.

Either way, let me be among the first to say
    Happy Anniversary/Birthday Green Cloud

Any idea when the 13th Anniversary Sale will start this year?

Also, does GreenCloud usually release the flash-sale coupons only when the sale starts, or can new coupons suddenly appear in the middle of the event?
I’m mainly interested in the San Jose EPYC NVMe VDS, so I don’t want to miss a limited recurring deal. :)

We will announce the exact sale date maybe 1 week in advance. Unfortunately there would be no recurring deals for our VDS as I can say.

  • rjchawkrjchawk Member

huh, yeah, I had seen no VDS recurring sale, but I was looking for VPS deals so wasn't too bothered, but the fact that they said any sale would have a week advanced notice makes me think there's likely no birthday sale this year.

Its okay, I didn't actually have any immediate need anyhow, just missed out last year and was hoping to make up for it this year.
