What ideas do you have on a (new) uptime monitor?

I am considering making a new uptime monitor tool for myself, because
a) I got spare AI credits per month that would have been wasted if I don't use it on something.
b) Uptime kuma (that I have been using) takes up unnecessary amount of resources and have subpar group monitoring
c) Alternative solutions that i've found seems to be missing features that I care about. Particularly group support and being minimal.
Hence I am considering making my own in golang. Which will be open sourced later. It would ideally have the below features:
- Lightweight and minimal, small enough to run on an LXC with 256MB ram. Probably like 80MB ram available is plenty.
- Ship with an API instead of a full dashboard. Dashboard just hosted somewhere else as an static page. If you are willing to, you can monitor the uptime via JSON.
- Proper group support (e.g. ALL/ANY/WEIGHTED/QUORUM)
- Unix philosophy, if you need anything more advanced, the tool allows you to run a custom bash script to probe the uptime or determine how to send an notification. (all advanced configs only available via SSH)

I would say it will be nice to have TLS certs monitoring (expiry date) and various DNS records. I have been trying to do it with Uptimepage from @slima4 but it does not work for me. Also, would be great to have HA mode out of the box.
I assume HA mode means High Availability, as in any one node is up means the cluster is available.
I would think to have a "degraded" threshold. e.g. >1% of the nodes being up means the node is "degraded", and >60% being up means it's green "Up".
yep, exactly that. I understand that you still need an external tool (DNS Round Robin, load balancer etc) to switch traffic but on the app level it would be great to have it out of the box.
