KS-5 is not really available in GRA, try to check GRA on https://eco.ovhcloud.com/fr/kimsufi/ks-5/ and you will see that they lack the hw.... this is like: we will call you as we may get the hw available in the next days or years...

    ah you're right, I should have checked buy_ovh :D

KS-4 seems available in GRA and WAW according to fredo1664 script.
And KS-5 is available in VIN and HIL on their US website.

I haven't visited kimsufi.com in a long time but interestingly, they only have two servers in the KS range there now:

It's not because they hide the unavailable ones, since KS-5 is available in GRA at the moment.

I still use eco.ovhcloud.com , that Kimsufi page is horrible.

I don't know if you or any other here will find it useful, but I made it public. Originally I made it only for me, so I care most about how I can navigate within it :D

Well, the changes are only the last 24 hours and currently not even that, because I just deployed it. Over the last few days KS servers in all locations seem to be available from time to time and if you monitor it, it’s easy to get even if you don’t buy automatically. But yea, fuck these bots.

Wanted to get the .us domain, but you have to be a US citizen. If someone has an idea how I could still get it or would be willing to “sponsor” it, let me know.

I've never been a US citizen and have had .us domains in the past. Maybe try a different registrar?

  • tuxtux Veteran

If you have business in US, you can create US company and then buy .us domain.

  • I don’t know if this was mentioned somewhere here already, but at least the RISE-1 in LIM you can configure OLA (LACP) for vRack and you will get 20Gbit/s instead of 2Gbit/s.

Had a quick look and found no registrar as this is a strict requirement, only if you have a business as @tux said, but I have none that I could buy the domain with at least.

Hm, i do think you could order them (that is: .us domains) with e.g. All-Inkl. BUT: .us has no whois privacy so you would have you personal information displayed in whois....

Edit: ok, maybe a new rule that did not get applied to legacy registrations?

@OhJohn said: now we need an ovhwatch.us as well....

It's not as fancy, but late last year I made https://alerts.ovh as my own personal monitor for OVH server stock. The plan was to setup automated alerts via discord and possibly automated purchases, but never got around to it. However, it does monitor OVH US server availability in addition to the normal OVH World availability. I think it auto checks every 30-60 seconds.

  • Got a nice baguette with 110573 power on hours
