Specifically for the KS-5 in VIN, so with a US endpoint, with an email at startup to check that the email settings are correct, this should work:

cd buy_ovh
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt

create a config file conf_avail.yaml with:

APIEndpoint: ovh-us
ovhSubsidiary: US
email_availability_monitor: 24sk50-v1-us.ram-32g-ecc-2400.softraid-2x450nvme.vin
email_on: True
email_at_startup: True
email_server_port: XXX
email_server_name: "xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
email_server_login: "xxxxxxxxxxx"
email_server_password: "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
email_sender: "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
email_receiver: "[email protected]"

run (in tmux or screen for long term monitoring):

python monitor_ovh.py --conf conf_avail.yaml

email_availability_monitor is a regular expression, so "24sk50-" works too but gives updates on every single KS-5 in the subsidiary.
