The problem is that people expect dedicated CPU resources in a shared environment.

No the problem is people use the server resources as it's dedicated. People will burst those CPUs 100% for whole day or abuse that sweet 25 TB, which will reduce overall experience for everyone.

I give it a month or two before MJJs here start creating threads about Berohost.

barbaros, you keep taking shots at the MJJs in your replies, you got a problem with them or something?

yeah I do have problem with them. Is that a problem?

Problem is Bero's offering is polite and deserves being treated with some respect.
Instead some people try to milk out the last drop of the cow until it rolls over dead.
We are co-tenants on those machines.

For a week I postpone submitting a ticket now, because I don't see a realistic chance.
For f* s sake, get a dedicated machine if you want to run it dry 24/7 and for the love of the game get your own net segment too and pay your fair price && just leave everybody alone who just wants run some real project.

    Great deal.

  • The second batch of new machines gets way better GB6 scores than the first one.

@berohost do you use single tor switches or lacp ?
asking because maybe putting my vms on a single rack might mitigate my ping issues - do you think this would help

    We use LACP.
I think an internal network could be helpful. We can set that up for you via a support ticket.

Why aren't people happy that they got an amazing machine for such an unholy low price?
Compared to what other providers would charge for that kind of resources/performance this is exceptional even at 20% lower scores...

Greed is a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction.

  • Hey, guy. Out of stock now. Will you refill soon?

The scores of the new ones would go down as more people start using. I'm getting 2200 single core on 9275F and I'll be happy with anything > 2000 at this price.

The sale is over. The Ryzen bundles are back to their regular prices and are no longer on sale. We'll be making the same adjustment for the EPYC servers shortly. No further restocks are planned.

I have one instance from the last year sale. How can I cancel the service? it seems like there isn't button/option to cancel?

    Transfer it to me.

it has 64GB RAM and 8vCPU, 33 euro/month. you still interested in?

  • Do the traffic stats in the dashboard work for you?
    It shows 0.00 here.
Not that I need it, or use a lot of traffic, just wondering.

It works for me in 9950x server.

    Doesn't work in Turin server.

    Too costly for 8v cpu.

I am paying 4v, 20gb ram for 6.90 per month.

The traffic display usually only works when there's a bit more traffic flowing through the server. When there's very little traffic, it's very inaccurate and often shows 0 bytes in the web interface.

At times, when most providers increased prices, you have given us, the lowenders, to buy such quality vps at such price.

Respect to that. You haven't forgot about us and it means a lot.

Respect, this proves that everyone who increases is a blatant liar.

  • UPDATE :) :

got several servers from the first anniversary batch. At first things got very bad quickly - disk io and ping between them. Bero promised here to improve the situation and delivered !
Now in the past couple of days everything runs stable and good:

    • disk 4k iops are around 120k on all machines
    • network pings between the vms are roughly stable at 0.25ms (better is possible, but this is ok for now)

Didn't need to create a ticket after all - just wait (& give updates on the situation)

    Thaks @berohost !
    It's been 2 crazy weeks;)

    Thanked by 1berohost
  • been with @berohost for years, solid provider and any issue sorted promptly via ticket
