*Just wanted to say, the giveaway entry rules are such a clever way to keep the thread high-quality and engaging. Instead of pages of copy-pasted meaningless replies of GLWS or slogans like in other providers' giveaway threads, there are actually genuine interactions here, really nice work.

  • so if i don't need $1 vps how buy a vps use regular price?

    Thanked by 1netfront
  • Thanks Netfront for the giveaway! I'd use it as a small Hong Kong node for uptime monitoring of my personal services and a lightweight reverse proxy. Quick question about AS4658: do VPS customers get native IPv6 with a routed /64, or is it on-link?

    • What does "AS4658" mean?
    • Why are you doing this giveaway?
    • What you want us to do with this vps? I mean what you want us to test?
    • Can we use these vps in production?

    Thanks

    Thanked by 1netfront
  • Planning to use it as a small test node for lightweight services and a VPN endpoint. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Thanks for the giveaway!

I would use this VPS for:

    • AdGuard Home (personal DNS filtering)
    • Uptime Kuma (website and service monitoring)
    • Small status page for my personal projects

Question: For traffic destined to Southeast Asia, do most routes stay within regional exchanges such as HKIX, or do they typically go through upstream transit providers first?

Looking forward to testing the network performance from Hong Kong.

    Thanked by 1netfront

    1. What was the thought behind the name Netfront?
    2. I'll use it as a dev server to host my "vibe coded" tools for my personal usage

This hosting service is a great choice for creating a fun single-page site for your collected domains.

I see there is a looking glass. For my purposes, routing is really bad.

Please don't enter me for the draw. Thanks.
