Nice! Might need some more then. I presume this is only for new orders and not existing 1G servers
Hey @alexanderras,
Existing 1G servers can move over too, it isn't only for new orders. Open a ticket and we'll migrate yours, as long as we still have capacity on the EPYC side. There's a short downtime during the move.
Awesome - ticket created. Thanks!!
Is IPv6 /64 prefix routed?
Wow nice offers. GLWS!
Do you have yabs @SKRIME ?
@SKRIME want to try XEON 16G, but coupon LET10 doesnt work (Dieser Gutschein ist nicht für dieses Produkt gültig)
@ltk123 That's expected, LET10 doesn't apply to the XEON line. If you'd like the code to work, our EPYC 16G is the same 4 cores, 16 GB and 100 GB at 12.99€/mo, or 11.69€/mo with LET10. The XEON 16G stays at 6.99€/mo without the code, which still works out cheaper of the two.
@edmarhub
@Som It's on-link, so you can use addresses from the block directly on the interface but you can't route the /64 onwards to containers or an internal interface.
@SKRIME so discounts description "Code LET10 takes 10% off everything except the 1G plans. " is wrong you shoud correct it
Hey @ltk123,
Fair point on the wording. This post only covers our EPYC KVM plans, so "everything" was meant within that scope rather than across the whole lineup. LET10 applies to the EPYC plans here except the 1G ones.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKRIME

@CHALI787 Thanks! Just so it counts, entries go in the giveaway thread itself: SKRIME 7th Anniversary Giveaway
Is RDNS available on IPv4 and IPv6 ?
Also is port 25 available to be opened either inbound or outbound (on request)?
Hey @cosmicmyths,
rDNS is available on both IPv4 and IPv6, and you set it yourself in the panel without needing a ticket.
Port 25 is open by default on our EPYC and RYZEN plans. On the 1G plans it's blocked by default, but we can open it on request - just open a ticket.
Great news thanks for the quick reply!
@SKRIME Why do you require a €5 prepayment before ordering a VPS product? Can't we just pay with PayPal or something similar? This requirement is absurd!
They have a top-up starting from 1 euro
Do not buy any products from this dishonest merchant. The discounted machines they sell will not renew your service and will directly suspend it—this is utterly terrible.
@lizhanglin a bit of context for everyone reading this.
Your server wasn't suspended. It ran until the end of the period you had paid for, and we let you know by ticket beforehand that we couldn't renew it. The reason is hardware prices, which have gone up so much that we can no longer offer that server at the price you had. You asked us to keep it running for two more months, which unfortunately we couldn't do.
We're sorry it hit you at a bad time, and we said so in the ticket as well. But this was about that one server, not about discounted servers in general.
Please explain prices before and after. Also, if its a risk, that you could stop discounted services at renewal.
Dont want more drama here.
@ascicode The pricing details are between that customer and us, so we'll keep them out of the thread. As for the risk: we've adjusted our offers to the market over the last months, so what we sell today is priced in a way we can keep running, and current offers aren't affected by this.
It's understandable if the boss raises prices slightly due to increased costs, but your approach of directly stating that service will not be renewed upon expiration is simply too domineering. This is not how business should be conducted; it has severely damaged our user experience!
What does it even mean in the context?

However, no!
They require customers to "MUST" top-up at least 5 euros first!!!
You can see this:

I hope so.
I guess you only want the smallest plan, or?
Maybe this is the case with PayPal? Try other deposit methods. Apple Pay doesn't have this problem, 1.50€ is credited instantly.
btw, how is this absurd?
If you top up 1€ with PayPal, Skrime has to pay 0,35€ + 2,49% in fees, which lead to him getting 0,63€. If you continue to do this over a course of 5 months for example, he only receives 3,15€.
If you rather top up 5€ with PayPal, Skrime also has to pay 0,35€ + 2,49% in fees, which lead to him getting 4,53€ in this case. That's 1,38€ more than if you topped up 1€ each month.
If you don't know the fees of the payment gateway you want to use, don't call it absurd.
