On average, our users consistently utilize between 100 Mbps and 200 Mbps on our VPS instances—that is not an issue, provided our ports aren't saturated. However, if you continuously max out your VPS's port bandwidth for an extended period (4–5 hours), it will be considered excessive usage, and we will be forced to throttle the VPS.

9.9 Gbps for 3 hours, idle for 3 hours, repeat, fine?

No, that’s still excessive; I don’t see who would use that much bandwidth unless it’s for streaming or something similar—in which case, you’d need to get one of our dedicated servers. That said, to date, none of our clients have encountered any bandwidth issues.

It is unlimited—though not unmetered—under our fair use policy; basically, as long as you don't use the bandwidth abusively, you won't have any issues.

What counts as abusive usage? Is 500TB in a month fine?

You shouldn't use the network constantly; however, as long as there is no continuous usage that could impact other clients or saturate the links, it is fine.

    How is “continuous usage” defined?
990 Mbps for 3599 seconds, idle for 1 second, is this continuous?

Yes, if you use it for an extended period, it’s considered excessive use, but we remain generous, as explained

Can you provide some concrete details on this?

Its time for another thread.... lol get a vps already !! 😂😁

Honestly, we’re really generous when it comes to bandwidth; for "normal" VPS usage, there are absolutely no issues there. We provide 10 Gbps even on our entry-level plans—where 1 Gbps is the norm—so I think that’s a really great thing, haha.

Okay, so long as I'm not using it for streaming I'm hoping it's fine.

I can try, I'm just a bit irked to spend $5.07 for a 1vCPU/2GB Intel VPS. MJJ mentality, I know
