    @Servitro

Dear Servitro team, the server hasn't been able to start for over three hours now, and I haven't received a reply to the ticket I submitted to you either.

To be completely honest, I find the support really poor, given the long response times during outages.

  • Hi, I'm currently experiencing a serious network issue with the server. The latency to virtually any IP is now consistently over 1000ms, which is clearly not normal.

Could you please check what's going on with the network or routing on this server?
    my ip 94.249.207.*

Quick update regarding my experience with Servitro:
Unfortunately, I still haven't received any response from their support as of October 1st, 06:46 CEST.
The server eventually came back online after being unavailable for almost five hours, but the situation is still far from normal.
The VPS is now extremely sluggish. Establishing an SSH connection takes unusually long, typing commands has noticeable delays, and even command output sometimes appears with significant lag.
There is currently nothing relevant running on the server that could explain this kind of performance.
I opened another ticket and asked Servitro to investigate, but so far there has been no response to either the original outage issue or the current performance problems.
I understand that technical issues and outages can happen with any provider. What I find much more disappointing is the lack of communication. Having a server unavailable for several hours and receiving no response from support even well afterwards makes it very difficult to rely on the service for anything important.
I'll update this thread again if Servitro responds or if the performance improves.

    Hello,

I’m sorry for the delay. We upgraded the CPU 2 days ago, which caused some downtime and resulted in over 500 support tickets being created. Because of the high volume, it took our team some time to respond.

Our team is working through the remaining tickets and will have them resolved by today.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Dear Users,

We have upgraded the CPU of Server 7750 to resolve the previous CPU stealing issues.

If you were affected by this issue, please create a support ticket with the details of the problems you experienced. Our team will review the case and provide appropriate compensation for the affected period.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Thank you for the response.

However, I’m personally not really satisfied with the explanation. Almost five hours of downtime is not something I would describe as a “short downtime”.

If a CPU upgrade is planned, it would at least be nice to receive some information beforehand. I also checked the network/status page in the Servitro dashboard several times during the outage, but there was no information there either.

The 500+ support requests may explain the delayed responses, but they do not explain the performance issues.

The server was already noticeably sluggish before the CPU upgrade, although not quite as severe as it is now. Unfortunately, the performance problems are still present today.

I would therefore still appreciate some clarification on what is causing these ongoing performance issues.

    Thank you for the response.

However, I’m personally not really satisfied with the explanation. Almost five hours of downtime is not something I would describe as a “short downtime”.

    Hello,

I understand that we did not inform you about this update in advance. This was an oversight on the part of one of our team members, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

As of now, the performance and network issues on the server have been resolved.

Please let us know if you experience any further issues.

Hi, I checked the Frankfurt test IP 5.231.106.125 before ordering.
    IPQualityScore shows:

Are customer VPS IPs in Frankfurt assigned from a different pool?
If so, can you share a sample IP or subnet from the actual VPS range so I can check it before ordering?

Thanks. Just to clarify: do you have multiple IPv4 pools in Frankfurt, so a replacement IP may come from a different subnet with a different reputation?

Hi, I checked the Frankfurt test IP 5.231.106.125 before ordering.
    IPQualityScore shows:

    • Fraud Score: 65
    • VPN: True
    • Proxy: True
    • Recent Abuse: False
Are customer VPS IPs in Frankfurt assigned from a different pool?
If so, can you share a sample IP or subnet from the actual VPS range so I can check it before ordering?

I can see you used https://www.ipqualityscore.com/.

This might be the shittiest tool I ever have seen.

Al the IP addresses I tested showed:

    • Fraud Score: 65
    • VPN: True
    • Proxy: True
    • Recent Abuse: False

      :D
