Please clarify for how long the credits can be used
Really nice deals for dedicated
let me include the fine print:
Nothing to say about your fake locations?

Any comments on this, @OneProvider?
It doesn’t look like you responded to this when it was raised in your previous offer thread either.
AFAIK, they've always been like this (10+ years) and I've never seen them address it. Seems they're doing fine just ignoring it. But it's one of the main reasons I've never considered them a serious option.
@OneProvider has your support response times and support improved
Don't expect a reply - terrible company to deal with and highly recommend people stay away
Really? 250 GB NVMe and unmetered traffic in Indonesia for only $10/mo?
I'd think a provider that defrauds customers with false advertising and refuses to clarify would at least lose its provider tag.
OneProviderBo
Just signed up and ordered a Bangkok VPS using the promo code LET50 (Order ID: 782965). However, I didn't see the $100 promotional credit added to my account. Could you please take a look? Thanks!
The credits are valid for one month.
For most locations, the city name we show is meant to represent the nearest major metro area or network market, not necessarily the exact municipality where the datacenter building is located. A lot of the actual facility locations are in smaller cities or suburbs that wouldn't really mean much to most people, so using the nearby major city gives a much clearer idea of where the service is based.
We also try to keep the same naming across OneCloud and dedicated servers to keep things simple. Since we work with different infrastructure providers in the same region, they're not always in the exact same datacenter or municipality, which can sometimes create differences between the location name and the precise physical location of a specific server.
In cases like Warsaw actually being in Gdańsk, they are 300km away, and I definitely would feel scammed if I bought it. That's a massive distance. Same with Šiauliai instead of Vilnius, that's 200km.
If it were something like, as a Swedish example, Nacka instead of Kista, I wouldn't care as much because that's like 30km.
It's a shame because some of the locations are desirable to me, but it makes me wonder how many of them are fake.
The nearest major metro area for Fez, Morocco is Malaga, Spain, right?
Stop dodging.
So in another words, false advertising...
I have been using OneCloud for several years and most locations are extremely reliable. They cover something close to 70 locations which, based on the latency, are physically there, but you seem to focus on Fez only? From this post, they don't seem to be offering it anymore.
My suggestion is, if the location doesn't meet your needs, pick a different one. It makes no sense to complain when you have so much choice.
Doesn't change the fact that they're doing false advertisement, and blatantly lying to their customers:

You seem to basically only post here for OneProvider, so I'll take it as a biased comment towards the provider, specially with the tone of it, and your previous comments regarding this topic.
@DP they seem to be ignoring my question, and the answer we got already proves they're false advertising.
I'm sorry, but you're the one I find in every oneprovider thread talking about Fez and false advertising. You seem to be taking it personally. Did anyone from them steal your girlfriend? Are you working for their competitors or any of the providers in your recommendations?
As per the other thread, they were using Hostoweb as the upstream for Fez, which is Moroccan. I guess they sent hardware there, so are you telling us that their network provider wasn't actually offering services in MA? Running a traceroute shows that the last hop before OP is morocco.gw01.hostoweb.com, so are you blaming Hostoweb or OP for working with them?
Still, I don't see the point of this discussion if they no longer offer the location. I've been using their services for years in 20+ locations currently, and everything works smoothly.
They could certainly improve some features or performance in certain exotic locations, but overall it's good value for the price. Very few providers, if any, offer such an extensive number of locations, especially at the same homogeneous rate.
yes it was me
Fake locations is one thing; the more important thing is that they are resellers who add zero value to the services they resell, and passively eat the upside while scalping low-end offers from Online.Net and GTHost and Psychz. Ever wondered why Psychz was always out of stock? Yeah cause of these scalpers.
So not worth it.
OneCloud is their own cloud product, which they operate on their own hardware, network, and IPs. They don't resell anything, so please don't mix them up.
For bare metal, they are the main online.net partner (now Scaleway). They get good deals mainly because they order in bulk, which reduces support costs, and because they deal with low-end clients like the ones here (the ones nobody wants). So they definitely add value, as otherwise these same configs would be way pricier.
Also the worst product ever offered by any provider.
That's just BS. False advertising is false advertising, regardless of who's doing it. If you advertise a service as being located in, for example, Warsaw, then the obvious and reasonable interpretation is that the service is actually located in Warsaw. If it's close, or somewhere else, don't say it's in Warsaw and let people know the actual location.
If the stated location isn't where the service is actually located, then the information being presented to customers is inaccurate.
I reckon I agree with zGato, you're just shilling for the provider at this point.
And no, you're incorrect, they don't buy in bulk and offer us better prices - you can get the same or cheaper prices at the providers they resell on promotion. If at any given point in time the reseller is cheaper than the upstream, that is because the upstream is not running a promotion while the reseller is holding onto a promo server. Source: I never used them for online.net (always ordered direct), and I used one of their resold Psychz boxes until I figured out the upstream and moved over.
If it is true that they get volume pricing - that just means they are getting a bigger upside on the reselling. But as I said, OneProvider gives zero value-add to the end user.
