  AFAIK, they've always been like this (10+ years) and I've never seen them address it. Seems they're doing fine just ignoring it. But it's one of the main reasons I've never considered them a serious option.

  For most locations, the city name we show is meant to represent the nearest major metro area or network market, not necessarily the exact municipality where the datacenter building is located. A lot of the actual facility locations are in smaller cities or suburbs that wouldn't really mean much to most people, so using the nearby major city gives a much clearer idea of where the service is based.

  We also try to keep the same naming across OneCloud and dedicated servers to keep things simple. Since we work with different infrastructure providers in the same region, they're not always in the exact same datacenter or municipality, which can sometimes create differences between the location name and the precise physical location of a specific server.

  In cases like Warsaw actually being in Gdańsk, they are 300km away, and I definitely would feel scammed if I bought it. That's a massive distance. Same with Šiauliai instead of Vilnius, that's 200km.

  If it were something like, as a Swedish example, Nacka instead of Kista, I wouldn't care as much because that's like 30km.

  It's a shame because some of the locations are desirable to me, but it makes me wonder how many of them are fake.
