And what is that risk? Since middles pose the same risk as private WireGuard tunnels, is WireGuard also disallowed?

I guess you can't have your email server here either, since email servers manipulate email headers.

You can run an email server on a CubePath VPS. The restriction on email header manipulation refers to abusive or deceptive use, not the normal headers an email server creates.

Outgoing port 25 is blocked by default. After you’ve had the VPS for one month, you can open a support ticket to request that we unblock it.

I don't understand why people want port 25 anymore when majority of email is all SSL.
Its like lets do FTP over port 21... um... why?!

@CubePath said: Thanks for bringing this up. We do require a card for the initial $10 account verification, but that $10 goes straight into your balance. You can then pay with crypto for future top ups.

If someone is using cryptocurrency, it's specifically because they don't want to use card (or PayPal).

So that kind of defeats the purpose...

You’re right. If the reason for using crypto is to avoid cards entirely, requiring one for the initial verification defeats the purpose. Thanks for explaining it so clearly. We’ll bring this feedback to the team and review whether we can offer another way to verify accounts.

There is some other ways. That can help.

Because 25 is for server-to-server communication. It's usually encrypted with STARTTLS even over 25.

I think email transfer over internet on port 25 only. They are only encrypted over port 465 or 587 when sending the email to clients.

Edit: forest has explained it better....

You’re right that non-exit relays are different from exit nodes and don’t carry the same abuse risk. Our current policy still doesn’t allow Tor relays of any kind. It’s a general decision about the risks we’re willing to take on with Tor traffic, not a claim that middle relays work like exit nodes. Thanks for raising the distinction.

Hi, I like your service, but I just need one question answered before I sign up. How many L's in ellephlant?

Three in “ellephlant”, one in “elephant”. Is that the signup test passed? 😉

Thanks Josh. If you have a specific alternative in mind, feel free to share it so we can pass it on to the team.
