Purchased VPS but did not arrive!!!

They manually review pending orders and deliver then. Please wait for some hours.

I paid for three hours and the server didn't see it, but the bill was sent via email. I didn't see the bill on the website, and it seems that the specifications are not written on the email bill

You're right. Once they send your order, you will see "Your new order #xxxxxxx is now ready" in their email title. Then you will see your server in your account.

no YABS from SG vault vps?

It is similar to the Xeon E5 Yabs we posted above. Disk I/O speed and redundancy remains the same in these new Vault plans as any of our other Xeon E5 plans.

I’ve been waiting for you to release the API for managing our VPSes for more than five months now :) I was originally told that the final API spec was expected to be released around April/May.

There is a little secret that there is an API. :) It's how our portal operates.

But... we are now working on version 2 of that API to make it more ready for the "AI era". And honestly, it is now finished. It is being tested internally and documentation is being written.

    Stay tuned. :)

  • @serverpoint what is your AUP/FUP on resource (cpu, disk io)? what will happen if the vps run out of bandwidth (got to admit, with 20TB after doubling bandwidth and if i still managed to consumed all of that maybe you don't want me as your customer but just asking anyway)

Our team will reach out to you regarding running out of bandwidth. It is rare, but it happens from time to time. We don't have some automatic way to limit it, and we aren't interested in that either: we believe in reaching out to the client and working something out. Make sure you see emails from us. :)

As for CPU and disk I/O, remember that this is a shared environment. CPU average usage of 20% is pretty acceptable. We do have pricing options if you wish to use more sustained CPU resources.

Same with disk I/O: if you are at, say, 1GB/s non stop, 24/7, for days and days, we will suspect something is not right. Such usage is unheard of across our entire fleet, unless some software you are running has gone wild, or, you are crypto mining some disk based coin (we do not allow crypto mining of any kind).

This, of course, is a summary. Our published policies are quite extensive.

    :)

Unfortunately, no. We are retiring those Xeon E5 servers from Singapore and replacing them with AMDs. We already replaced 1/3 of all of them and migrated all those clients over to the AMDs.

Even though we do have many of these E5 servers online in Singapore, we are maintaining that capacity open for the new Vault plans which are more for users looking for storage space.

But there isn't enough RAM capacity to use them for plans with higher amounts of RAM.

By first half of next year, all of those Xeon E5 servers will be gone from Singapore. And over the next 2 years or so, from our entire fleet.

It will renew at the same price. We try to keep renewal prices the same.

We can't, however, guarantee that forever, so it's best to lock in the price with one of the long term options.

For LET2-RAM1 at $120 for 3 years, will it also renew at the same $120 for the next 3-year term, like the LET-VAULT-M plan mentioned above? Or is the same-price renewal only applicable to the VAULT plans?

The same price renewal applies to any plan that we offer.

Unless there are circumstances outside our control, the renewal price will always be the same on any of our plans).

    Hi,

Could you clarify the specifics of your CPU limit policy?

If I run a software compilation that uses high CPU (near 100%) for about an hour, will that trigger an alert or result in throttling/suspension?
Also, is the 20% limit a strict hard cap, or an average calculated over a specific time window (e.g., 24 hours)?

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

No, it will not. We take an average over a 7 day period and from that, we make an assessment from that and then contact the client to let them know.

Many times, the customer doesn't know that something in the server is consuming a lot of CPU...
