Can do. Don't want to keep anyone's money, it's very possible lost on our side and a screw-up. If you want to share any details for myself/any staff to find it we can take care of it.
Not sure what you won, but in 95% of the cases if instructions followed we shipped/delivered/whatever. 5% is reserved for blaming @skorupion and easter dedis.
I think a lot of the users from here will do this as well, but it was important that (as a team) we didn't rely on the work/time of customers for a change we're implementing.
I didn't write up a whole thing because I feel bad "spamming" forums about internal business activities (without a sale/special), but the gist:
The short reasoning why on our side: datacenter space is a premium now, extremely hard to get (mostly just hard to actually deal with the sales people), new deals are all (best case) almost 2x per kW/mo than existing space, and we're solving it by moving more efficient gear in. I'd rather spend the money on capex for new gear that benefits both customers and us (we own it) rather than setting more opex on fire for datacenter owner to get his 9th lambo (makes me jealous).
Re: Easter Dedis-- CHI, VFO, or DFW it's going to be your choice for a better server.

My hand is being forced, but no I really do not. I highly, hiiiighly prefer to pay people who specialize in building, maintaining, staffing, etc. It's a huge distraction. Little known fact is waaay early on (under the precursor to Crunchbits) we ran 2 of our own wholly self-owned facilities (~1.5MW). Awful experience. You never plan for exigent circumstances such as the local noxious weed board from the county complaining about your neighbors overgrown property has ability to threaten your business operations.

Just went through this process thinking it would be a pain and I'd come out with a different price/worse specs but I was pleasantly surprised by the support and the outcome. Highly recommending Crunchbits going forward.
@crunchbits Sorry to interrupt, could you tell me if there will be a more convenient migration method in the future? Or should I open a ticket and provide the configuration details of my old server now? According to your migration guide, it appears a new machine must be purchased on the new platform beforehand. Maybe you still had access to another arrangement as a reseller or you did the KYC, but for regular customers the only crypto option they currently point to is BitPay, which kind of defeats the point of offering crypto in the first place.
Ah, IDK. I just know the legacy panel removed crypto options for a bit but then it reappeared to me in the new panel. Topped up the account and paid some bills yesterday, though I don't particularly like BitPay.
We're slowing down on new orders at the moment (by design) by forcing longer payment cycles at the moment. This is temporary, and to sort of slow/control growth. We haven't deployed new servers with Crunchbits in a while. (Though I need to re-review some of our billing, I think some previously LTO servers may now finally be paid off. We have a mixed bag of LTO / owned and colo servers with them and I'm awful at keeping track)
nice, I will do that. I would also like to ask whether Dallas is currently the only node available. I might be interested in a Washington node. Is there a planned launch schedule? If it is before the deadline you mentioned, so can I migrate to the Washington node?

So...Does this mean that if I migrate to Dallas now, I will be able to migrate to other locations later, such as the western US like Washington or other place? Is this free? If i cant, may I wait for another suitable node to become available to migrat? could u take me this question if ur available? @crunchbits
Yes -- and yes. We’ll likely have a feature allowing customers switch between sites themselves later. For the near term, support will handle it at no cost.
