Looking for 4-core Ryzen VPS/VDS in Germany – alternatives to Layer7

Hi everyone,

I've been using Layer7 for Ryzen VPS/VDS servers and I was quite happy with their previous pricing and configuration flexibility.

However, after their website/configurator update in September, choosing 4 CPU cores now requires at least 24 GB RAM and 200 GB NVMe. These minimum requirements were not present before the update, so I'm now looking for alternatives offering something closer to what Layer7 used to provide.

What I'm looking for:

Location: Germany
CPU: Ryzen 7000/9000 series, or something with similarly strong single-core performance
CPU allocation: around 4 vCPU, preferably with a reasonable CPU share / not heavily oversold
RAM: at least 16 GB
Storage: at least 100 GB NVMe
Network: 1 Gbps port is fine
Traffic: nothing extreme; so around 10 TB/month would already be plenty
Virtualization: VPS or VDS are both fine
Budget: ideally around €10–20/month

Germany is a requirement rather than just a preference.

I'm mainly interested in getting good Ryzen CPU performance without having to pay for 24 GB RAM and 200 GB storage that I don't really need.

Which providers would you recommend? I'm especially interested in providers with a good reputation here on LowEndTalk rather than simply the cheapest possible option.

You really should state what you need, rather than what you don't need

Thanks everyone for the replies so far! I’ve edited the original post to make my actual requirements clearer, especially regarding RAM, NVMe storage, and monthly traffic.

That should hopefully make it easier to suggest suitable alternatives.
