There's a Jellyfin server in the included media stack - Just make sure you get a plan with enough RAM to run it well.
Extras most likely, you can buy extra RAM, Traffic and Storage.
Maybe he just needed a lot of storage...

Jellyfin works very well for me. I'm currently using Jellyfin for desktop portable version. No buffering or bottlenecks.
Someone posted a script to install only Jellyfin.
