[solved] Deluxhost

Today I bought a 12eur/annually vps from https://deluxhost.net/en/deals/d , but it always stuck at "OS installation" ,so I open the VirtFusion panel. Then I found that VPS deployment fails at the "Gathering build configuration" step, even tried several kinds of OSs. Sometimes it can pass "Gathering build configuration" step, but failed at "Creating configuration" or "Installing operating system" step.
I opened a ticket to ask about the problem. The customer just told me to restart the setup process and check again. I did as instructed, but the problem wasn't solved at all.

Update: the problem has been solved after several hours.

Hi, to be completely honest, posting about a “bad experience” after you bought a server a few hours ago, due to a problem we're already aware of on the nodes in Germany and are currently fixing, I think is quite unusual.

The urge to complain probably outweighed the desire to wait.

We will still let our customers know when this little bug is fixed in our post. :)

I'm sorry but what a bullshit answer is that?

Customer buys the server -> Can't install server

Literally can't use your service 5 minutes after buying it. And you say you are already aware of it.

You as a provider can offer 2 things:

1-) Temporarily move user to different region till this issue is solved
2-) Manually set up a server temporarily of the customer's choice.

You are not happy because the customer can't use their service right after buying it because of known ongoing issue?

OR if it's known issue, stop selling at Germany region till it gets fixed?

I don't think you understand the problem, it started 3 or 4 hours ago and was resolved a few minutes ago. I don't think anyone would ever be offended by waiting for a fix some hour.

We have no option to migrate elsewhere in Germany, otherwise we would have already done so.

@JunjieYe could confirm that is solved i think.

EDIT: I'm sorry if I seemed rude, that wasn't the intent obviously.

The issue is that someone would complain to LET after just a few hours rather than opening a ticket.

  • That was quick.

I don't agree to that. The OP said they created ticket, and got answer "reboot and try again". He wasn't even told it's an ongoing issue (based on what OP shared)

Still seems excessive to create a thread so soon, without at least replying to the ticket and waiting for a response.

I apologize for my impatient complaints. However, I purchased the service around 05:00 UTC+2, and it was fixed around 11:40 UTC+2. even during business hours, there was no outage notification, and the customer didn't told me of any server issues.
The problem existed before I even made the purchase. A server can be down for so long without any notification. I think that is unusual, so I feel Infuriating--especially the problem encountered when I bought it exactly.

maybe he's read the many threads here about people's issues with service & lack of useful cs response until threads are posted!
