    Any insight in the difference between the "Intel KVM VPS 8GB" and "Intel KVM VPS 8GBv2" offers? Higher end hardware used? Or just a more recent hardware purchase with pricing being updated for just that newer batch?

    The V2 gets you more drive space, 80 GB vs 50GB.

    No, it wasn't down. There was a Cogent fiber cut that they have resolved, but that primarily impacted some transpacific routes.

    If you need 8GB of RAM, then buy the appropriate package. We have packages from 4GB to 64GB.
