The timeouts connecting to billing.linveo.com might have been caused at the transition between Transtelco and Cogent, upstream from Linveo. So this issue seems to have had nothing to do with Linveo directly.

Hello everyone, we did have a DDoS attack yesterday in Ohio and the network down or had packet loss during this time. It has been cleared out as of last night. Please make sure to check your e-mails because two were sent out during this time. We also recommend using https://updates.linveo.com/ and https://uptime.linveo.com/status/linveo-main
