I have an under-stairs DC, which works well would recommend.

    We want more infooooooo! :D

When I redid my house, I put CAT6A everywhere, and needed a central location, so I chose under the stairs, using only the finest LackRack for my switches/router/wifi/servers :joy:

Don't have any latest pictures of it, as there is a load of shit in front of it now, but when I first started to get everything in, now there are switches/server/router screwed into the LackRack :joy:

It is, love it, will never get rid of it. Has plenty of HDD bays for a nice nas. Rather large and heavy though.

Yeah, they're amazing. I don't recommend filling it with SAS drives and no proper cooling, like I did, though LOL

do i really need a case? i just connect everything straight to the motherboard, put the HDDs on the floor, and boot the OS from an external USB NVMe

I did the same, the airflow is a bit rubbish, but it works well for what I need.
