    We are in the middle of updating payment methods now. Alipay along with several others will be available soon. We also just added crypto yesterday as well :)

    Got this email today, looking at their status page, I would guess it was BufStorage36.dedirock.com which appears to be where my Double-Stacked™ "Promo Storage NY 1776 Edition" Storage VPS was located from the July 4th deals thread. Thankfully, nothing of concern was lost.

    But just to fit in with the usual crowd that posts here...I will never financially recover from this...I had important data on there. >:)

    Dear DediRock Family,

    We wanted to provide you with an important update regarding your Storage VPS.

    Over the past several days, our team worked to recover your storage node following a series of hardware failures. Multiple drives were replaced, and several RAID rebuild attempts were performed. Unfortunately, despite every recovery effort, the RAID array could not be recovered, resulting in permanent data loss.

    This was an extremely rare failure. The node was protected by RAID 6, which is designed to tolerate multiple drive failures. Unfortunately, in this case, the array could not be successfully recovered despite repeated recovery attempts.

    We sincerely apologize for this outcome and understand the inconvenience it has caused.

    We have begun provisioning replacement Storage VPSs for all affected customers. Your new login information will be sent to you as soon as your replacement service is ready.

    To help you get back up and running as quickly as possible, we will gladly provide additional bandwidth for any data re-uploads as needed. Simply open a support ticket, and our team will be happy to assist you.

    We know this is not the experience you expect from DediRock, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support.

    I am definitely sorry for the trouble on this one man, it was definitely a situation we had worked to avoid, however unfortunately ended up that the RAID could not be recovered after several attempts.
