All of Namecheap sites are down due to power outage in their Phoenix DCs (also where 1gservers is located).
Namecheaps own website and own status page dont even load currently.

Surely thats not the fault of the higher ambient temperature. Either they turned it off or they don't wanna work 😂

@concept How do keep redudant server?
E.g. have app and db on different systems: db as a three node cluster in different providers, app at least two nodes in different providers and in front load balancers that check health of the app servers and divert traffic to app backends (and app backends doing the same with db cluster).
All my systems are 100% up even with backend servers in this DC being down.
Also I believe most of 1Gservers are being hosted in their own datacenter. They used to be solely in PhoenixNAP. I think they still have some private cages there but most stuff got moved.

Ok, the second one just got it's network back. Even drives temperatures are a bit lower than before. There is hope. It was powered down earlier today (this one not by me, I shutdown another one).

The outage is really something, and even though it may technically be Phoenixnap at fault, the last year has been several other downtime events from 1g network or heating issues. I'm losing confidence in them, which sucks because the first year or two was so good, and their support is generally fast and helpful. But I don't want to reach out to their support ever, I just want the gear and network to work. Now here's another big downtime event, zero communications about it, zero updates, even phoenixnap has a lame excuse for a status update. Just bad all around.
Data is normally in the db. With a three node ha cluster (galera etc., there are myriads of solutions for different db systems) you don't have the problem as the db cluster is doing the replication. And static files (pdf, img etc. pp.) should be on e.g. s3 or sth. the like also detached from the app systems. And you want at least two app servers (compute logic) for e.g. being able to have one down or doing blue/green updates etc.
The only provider that is in Phoenix area and not in PhoenixNAP is GTHost, they are in Omnis Network DC at 1005 W. Geneva Dr. Tempe, AZ, 85282.
Some may need to look at options in DFW area in TX or Los Angeles for a redundant server
