What's the Most Ridiculous Thing You've Ever Used a VPS For? πŸ˜‚

We've all used VPSs for the normal stuff:

Websites.
VPNs.
Docker.
Game servers.
Bots.
Monitoring.
Development.

But I'm more interested in the weird stuff.

What's the most ridiculous, unexpected, unnecessary, or downright questionable thing you've ever hosted on a VPS?

Maybe you:

  • Hosted something that absolutely didn't need a VPS.
  • Spent $5/month to solve a problem that could have been solved with a $0.01 script.
  • Ran a bot for no reason other than "because I could."
  • Turned a VPS into a personal experiment and completely broke it.
  • Used an expensive server for something hilariously simple.
  • Built something at 3 AM that made perfect sense at the time.
  • Or did something that makes you wonder why the VPS provider never asked questions. πŸ˜‚

No judgment here.

I'll probably learn more from the ridiculous projects than from another "best VPS under $5" thread.

Tell the story, not just the project.

What were you trying to do?

Why did you use a VPS?

And, most importantly...

Was it actually worth it? πŸ˜‚
