taskset -c 0 cpuid -1r(click to expand)I'll add followup with just the IPv6 YABS test later when I have IPv6 set up.
@forest that's crazy expensive node for 20TB/m
I agree, but it looked good and I didn't have Austria yet. I paid triennially and the first year is half-off too, but I just specified the recurring cost. If it performs well, it'll be worth it.
Still cheaper than what I'm paying for iHostArt which is 25 TB/month and complimentary DDoS downtime.
I see. The cost must be higher because it's near DE and PL. Hmm, do you have CZ node?
indeed not chap!
@forest you need @alwyzon for vienna. Prem provider. Great prices. Love them
They're rock solid but they don't allow Tor at all
https://www.alwyzon.com/en/legal/tos
Yep, I have CZ with JustHost. Posted a YABS in here in June:
Ok, that means it's not because of the geographic, rather there's no cheaper tor friendly host in Vienna
Provider: OneProvider
Location: Lillie, France
Price: $22/month
Plan: Intel Xeon E3-1245 v2, 32GB DDR3, 2x480GB SATA SSD, 1GBPS unmetered 300MBPS guaranteed Link
Other info: SSDs are formatted as btrfs and using software raid 0.
Provider: Synteq/Crunchbits/Crankbis (https://synteq.com ) by @crunchbits @benha @skorupion
Location: Dallas, USA
Price: free for crunchbits Synteq's PPs
IPv4 Upstream(s): GTT (AS3257) and Arelion (AS1299) - https://bgp.tools/prefix/167.17.73.0/24#connectivity
IPv6 Upstream(s): same as above - https://bgp.tools/prefix/2606:a8c0:1600::/40#connectivity
Other info: For now, only Dallas, USA location is available. It's great, but I hope once Synteq gets Bulgaria opened to move my PP there.
Nice, I should check my account because there was no email
@oloke is special with big PP
Hello @AlteredParadox
HI @Jord
He did say that he'd be rolling out the PP VPS slowly over the coming days, so no VPS yet doesn't mean you won't get one.
As promised, the IPv6 results for Austria (it says it's in Styria, Austria, but it's really in Vienna, Austria):
https://bgp.tools/prefix/2a07:cec0:4403::/48
And for Slovenia (yes, it says Vienna, Austria here, but it's really Maribor, Slovenia):
https://bgp.tools/prefix/2a14:7c0:f100::/40
Thanks! Which IP-DB is used for YABS? Very weird, there is no reason for it to show Vienna haha - other Databases show the correct Location. Looking into this!
It seems to use https://ip-api.com/.
They do have a page to submit corrections, but I have no idea what their source is.
@MattBGP It's probably because 2a07:cec0::/29 was registered to AS215120 in 2025 (in AT), but now it announces 2a07:cec0:4403::/48 for you in SI. Before announcing that prefix for you, it was AT. So maybe their database is just really out of date, although that wouldn't explain why it got the ASN right but not the location.
See: https://bgp.tools/prefix/2a07:cec0::/29 and https://bgp.tools/rir-owner/at.evolus
Do all IPv6 connections to your SI location go through AT?
Synteq VPS
Thank you @crunchbits!
@evolushost updated YABS before they go to sleep and wake up with Debian 13
