    Is that yearly or monthly?

  • I also would like this dedicated server. I'm willing to go up to $170 per year.

You have lost it if u think u getting real dedicated server to urself for this price, unless u want truly dog cpu, OvH, OneProvider, Hetzner Auction have some auction / clearance or deals people can transfer. There are few other larger known providers mainly DE that provide similar.

    Traffic is not enough

Ah bummer, I only go by what I read on the thread. Only requirement I read on this thread regarding traffic is "Network Open to any (no specific restriction)" so I did my best :D

DDR2 or DDR3 (not mentioned), right? Sorry, by the way, if you find one let me know. I'm also a $20/month guy who ended up paying $28.

    What is the $28 dedi?

    Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU
    24GB DDR4 RAM
    256GB NVMe SSD Storage
    1Gbit/s shared Uplink ( unmetered i think :/ )
    1x IPv4 IP address

The project I'm running wants a full environment, that's why. Since it has an iGPU, I went with it.

I am an expert in LET law, and by the virtue of whomever requested, they are then required to buy it should a provider make a matching offer. Those are simply the facts of the case.

Or suffer the full penalties available under LET law. (most public shaming)

    Hello,

I’m considering moving my current dedicated server to one of your servers when my present quarterly term expires.

My current server costs approximately $270 USD every 3 months ($1,080/year) and has the following specifications:

    • Dual Intel Xeon E5-2673 v3 processors
    • 64 GB RAM
    • 2 × 1 TB SSD drives
    • 1 Gbps network port
    • Unshared/dedicated network connection
    • Multiple IPv4 addresses
    • Ubuntu 24.04

I’m interested in your server listed at $444/year with:

    • Intel Xeon E3-1270 v5
    • 64 GB RAM
    • 2 × 1 TB drives
    • 10 TB monthly traffic

The price is very attractive, but I would like some clarification on the networking and hardware before ordering.

    Could you please confirm:

    • What is the network port speed: 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, or something else?
    • Is the port dedicated/unshared to the server, or is the bandwidth shared with other customers?
    • Is the 10 TB traffic allowance combined upload/download, or primarily outbound traffic?
    • What happens after 10 TB is reached — is the connection throttled, suspended, or is there an overage charge?
    • Are the 2 × 1 TB drives SSD, SATA SSD, NVMe, or HDD?
    • Can the two drives be configured as RAID 1?
    • How many IPv4 addresses are included, and can additional IPv4 addresses be purchased?
    • Is DDoS protection included, and if so, what level of protection is provided?
    • Is the server a fully dedicated physical machine with no virtualization or shared CPU resources?

My workload consists primarily of PostgreSQL databases, indexing/search services, Docker containers, web/API services, and related applications. I am not using the server as a high-bandwidth video streaming server.

I’m mainly trying to determine whether this server would be a reasonable replacement for my current dedicated server while reducing the yearly cost.

    Thank you.

Ow i guess time for specific and clarifications

    CPU: E3-1270v5
    RAM: 64GB of DDR4 2400MTs
    Disks: 2 x 1TB SSD SATA drves
RAID: No raid controller (you can setup mdadm or ZFS for your software raid)
    Port: 1Gbps
Monthly Traffic: 10TB single direction (which ever is biggest) _
    IPs: 1 x IPv4 + 1 x /48 IPv6 _(Can always buy more IPs @ $2.50/mo per IPv4)

    DDOS Protection: Not included
IPMI: Provided VPN access to access IPMI (Console, ISO mounting, Power management, etc...)
Type: Fully dedicated server (not a VM)
    Provisioning Time: 24hours from payment
    Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Extras: BGP Seasons or BOYIPs is free if needed

Hopfully I didnt miss anything, but always feel free to reach out if you had follow questions about this little silly deal or any other services we can provide

    Thanks, that covers almost everything.

Just one clarification on the network: is the 1 Gbps port dedicated/unshared to my server, or is the upstream bandwidth shared/oversubscribed between multiple servers?

Also, since the server is in Auckland, do you have any typical latency figures or test IP/download file I can use from the US before ordering?
