If such a thing as pre-drama exists, does it mean that something like pre-popcorn also exists?
pre-popcorn popcorn
Or maybe pre-pop popcorn? This would make sense because @host_c hinted the price increase for quite a while.
My entire host_c inventory is either promos or the discontinued ipv6 boxes... this could be a sad week. lol.
You could pump @PulsedMedia (use rootless docker lol). There's also @ViveHosting 2c2g25GB+1TB (check les) £18/y.
Arguably, none of them could replace host-c on
HDDperformance.@PulsedMedia is the best option if you're looking for high BW. @ViveHosting for stable ssh experience. There's also @DeluxHost and @DediRock, but they're backup aligned.
But, @host_c does left a sizeable gap between
usable only as backup nodewhich occupied sub $1/TB andhigh performance storage(currently @host_c and @onidel has $4/TB offers)Perhaps I should revisit @NovaCloudHosting's offer
Sorry to @host_c, it seems my prediction are rather inaccurate.

Hopefully whatever solution below could alleviate the commodity SSD pricing
Or.maybe it is a liberation from the sadness of idling, maybe it is a liberation from the shakles of price increase, maybe it is a door offering absolution towards other deals which might appear in future, maybe it is a closure for worries about hackers using AI that might steal your collection of Linux ISOs. Maybe it is not sad - in the end maybe it is all just a bubble we try to survive.
The host-c fleet (I guess I'm not really using a whole ton of my storage anyway, lol. pbs is the biggest and its eating like 1.5TB/10TB atm on the big one...but it's nice to have options!):
Hi,
mymymy i had to read through 2-3 pages new messages just to find....
... no news
All are sharpening their knifes without knowing what exactly they are sharpening it for...
i just remembered that i know that from somewhere... what was it again.... ahhh... foreplay ... ok, now i am in :-)
BANANAS
@host_c is just building suspense
Buy a drama for your drama!
yay build up suspense for drama! and bananas. and llamas!
I hope it's not too much of an increase
F AI and the memory cartel.
No! My 5TB idlers!
I'm shall try to break this ice and get that popcorn cooking.
Lol. From $20/y to $61/y, including 20% existing customer discount is interesting increase. RIP storage server.
Good fucking lord.

Got the email as well. It was a great 2-year run with my $7/yr "In Search for Cociu" - enjoyed every bit of it!
I liked it so much that I even pre-charged 5 years of credit for the future renewal. Guess it's officially time to go In search for HOST-C...
I was quoted a 180% and 212% price increase for my two services.
Service has been stable, but these aren't remotely reasonable prices.
5TB vps , was paying 15$ per quarter, new price is 46.80$ per quarter.
It was a 2y good run, thank you for your service.
It's time to goodbye to my idlers.
oh man. rip host-c fleet
The pioneer actually faired the best, seems like a lot of the little black friday boxes are what took the hit.
RIP. It's been a wild ride. Thank you Host-C
RIP
