Future of AI is definitely open weights, claude code and codex are just temporary solutions until frontier models will be accessible by anyone possibly locally
Never used those, why you like them? hyprland website looks vibe coded tho
While this looks pretty nice and clean, I think that one might have some major security reservations about a vibe coded SSH client.
So basically you made your SSH (all in one) client, which is fine.
My only question is - why?
And your Cloudblast integration, or whatever your company name is, yikes.
Already mentioned some of the reasons in my previous messages, mostly AI integration challenges, if you have followed the MCP standard evolution you would know there is a shitshow situationt there.
CloudBlast is just for a free cloud sync & cloud inventory, it's totally optional. I mean Termius charge you 10/month for that, we give it for free.
I code since 2016, a fun thing to do is reviewing pre-AI code with AI, trust me your will find some crazy things
They're similar to the UI you made but at a much lower level and transparent to apps. Basically anything you can think of can be customized
Highly recommend trying hyprland sometime
silly question: how can i find out if something is vibe-coded? specifically, i'd like to know if the browser “floorp” is vibe-coded. any ideas?
ai + javascript, thanks no further questions
Everything is in 2026, who doesn't use AI is terribly left behind by a lot.
The question is not if is vibe coded or not, is how has been thought and the effort that people put into things
Btw: look at shitty shadows all over the cards with slide up animations on hover
floorp has been around since 2021 as far as i know. started as a chromium fork and in 2022 they switch to firefox. maybe its vibecoded now, but it wasnt in the beginning
This is what real bad vibe coding looks like: https://royal-server.ro/
BS! I know many developers (and good ones) as well as projects declining to use ai or to "vibe-code".
In my professional environment I wasn't even asked to try it, they want experienced "old-school" developers only.
Vibe coded temu copy of Termius?
Count me in!
Why is it always vibe coded security products? Whhhhyyyyyy?
Jaaa man, but I couldnt find Android App.
Because every unskilled moron got their hands on AI, and of course, since they've been coding since 2016, it's 100% secure, just put your server info in and trust them!
You could port his vibe coded slop with your own AI!
I think this sounds worse than the SSH client itself. To be fair, OP said it's optional. Hopefully Claude was extra careful with that
You can review the repo yourself, that's the whole point of making it open source...
Indeed, as we said, cloud sync is totally optional, everything else is in your own machine.
There is more non-ai involvment in this than you think, but I "appreciate" your superficial comment. That said, would be nice if you could actually share facts based on the open source code instead of just judging without any useful information in your comment.
Termius is a totally different product, closed source with paid subscriptions and no AI anywhere inside nor Windows RDP support.
We decided to make it open source so everyone can contribute opening a PR, review the code and decide weather or not to trust this client or not.
Hello @cloudblast!
I actually discovered and quickly tested WindTerm a few weeks ago, along with other similar (portable) apps. I liked its UI and functionalities so thank you for that.
I just asked Claude to review the code especially from security point of view because AI agents make many mistakes for what i have seen. But only part of the code is open source and can be reviewed. If you have not done it yet, maybe this could be a way to help you strengthen it?
he makes a good point
Why move from UAE to US? I thought it mostly happened the other way around.
Actually that is the reason why I discovered WindTerm: I was looking for another free, portable, modern UI, user friendly ssh client (SSH + SFTP + RDP + VNC + etc.) in one window, to manage several VPS and to not have to run PuTTY, WinSCP, etc.

Personally left the UAE, and considering the current situation I would say was a good choice
Exactly
