Under 15$/year server deals?
in General
Guys, post the best vps annual deals y'all have found so far under 15$/year! Also if you're already using one do mention the provider and experience with them so far, curious to see what deals y'all have found so far! For me right now I'm using Dedirock 7$ a year vps with 2gb ram, 1vcpu and 2tb bandwidth. For the price it's pretty great to host like small websites and docker services.

Hello! We currently have our LET promo going on with plans starting at 13.99/yr

Didn't lots of people complaint about you last year around due to vps inaccessible, no support, website down, control panel down?
Fair question. Those problems came from our previous colo provider. We had ongoing issues there that were outside our control and ultimately migrated to a new datacenter because of it.
had bought performance vps from hostbrr 1cpu, 1gb ram, amd ryzen 3900 for around $10 a year with this deal. Also I've racknerd vps for something $12/yr in Los Angeles. both are decent. One i use for accessing Netflix and other for hosting site.
That 2 GB plan for under $7 a year is just marketing. What can you realistically do with 2 GB of RAM these days?
These days, you need at least 6 GB of RAM to get started.
Almost anything? Let me introduce you to what started this site and forum:

And can still do that, if static hosting worked on 64MB, imagine how it will fly with 2GB.
Or the LXC for hosting my main websites uses just 154 MB RAM right now. Not static sites, all run CMS written in PHP.
... lol
I run content-heavy websites on 1GB ram.
its Almalinux + Openlitespeed + Wordpress.
No need of 6GB RAM for this.
It’s one thing to host 18 virtual hosts serving static .html files, and another for those same virtual hosts to handle thousands of visits per day. It says WordPress can handle 100 visits, but it doesn’t specify that they’re concurrent. Most likely, if fewer than five visitors use the search button at the same time, the PHP will crash 502.
It’s similar to what happens here: waiting four days for Linux to boot on an Intel 4004 is not the same as using that 4004 to render a video. Sure, it boots—but it takes four days.
Modern databases are another issue. ClickHouse, for example, can consume around 3 GB of RAM just by being installed. With some optimization, especially around logging, you might get that down to roughly 1.5 GB.
I forgot I was in the LowEndBox community—around here, even the last byte of RAM has to pay rent.
