Basically I want to prep for getting 1 or 2 semi-pernment VPS. It isn't urgent, and my current free Azure credits can last me until next year. When would be a good time to get onboard?
- Black friday / thanksgiving seems to offer some of the best deals
- Sometime near Christmas and new year
- Or sometime in the coming months?
I don't have much budget, expecting recurring $20~25/year for both.

VPS B:

Always Black Friday.
Black Friday through to new years, generally.
If you have particular providers in mind, some run sales at similar times each year pretty consistently. Green Cloud (who has some Japanese locations) do one on their birthday not long before Black Friday, mid October-ish. HostHatch late Q1’ish. etc.
