Hostdare network issue

tommyluotommyluo Member
edited July 25 in Outages

The vps has network issue for more than 12 hours and the ticket is submitted more than 8 hours, but no one to follow up the issue.
Using vnc to login vps and try to download a file, all show: No route to host.
Check their facebook and twitte, seems several years no update.

They are not working on weekend???

It's Saturday and you've only waited 8 hours anyway. Just relax dude.

Last network event happened in 04-May on Monday, and the response time to the ticket is within 2 hours, but this time,it really takes too long.

8 hours is really not too long. If it's been more than three days, then come back and complain.

IF it’s a true provider outage I think 3 days is way too long to address the issue

Yeah, My LA vps @Hostdare is also having network problems.
VNC works, vps is running but network is dead.

Which is the point at which I'd consider all other options exhausted and complaining to LET to be the only solution. But anything before that, for a very low-end host, I wouldn't try to shame them on LET until more than two days have passed.

For the service provider,4-6 hours response to ticket, that is the normal process, over 12 hours no response, that is unusual. For greencloud, racknerd, always within an hour.

Our standard response time is 24 hours

Their outgoing network issue, maybe the switches 185.238.xxx.4 has problem.By traceroute it stops there.

Slave node issue, even changing IP is not working, but migrate to another slave node, that works fine.
Hostdare is debugging for the network issue with that host.

You get lucky then. Lots of LET providers won't answer in just 4-6 hours. Premium ones will.
