I did not say upload 10gbps download 10gbps. I said per protocol. If you have a TCP protol both uploading and downloading at 10gbps and another UDP protocol at 10gbps from the same VPS, you will get the whole 20gbps. its just for DDoS protection its limited per protocol. While I would love to remove it, we'd have way more tradeoffs with alternative providers.

You said "✓ 20Gbps Shared Uplink"
You have a hard grasp understanding what 10Gbps vs. 20Gbps mean.

What you are describing is a 10Gbps connection, not 20Gbps connection. There is no such thing as what you are describing... to cumulate upload+download.

We don't cumulate download upload.... the ddos protection limits per protocol, not per direction.

    One VPS does this all:
    10gbps in connection via TCP
10gbps ALSO in connection via UDP
    10gbps out connection via TCP
10gbps ALSO out connection via UDP.

You can get 20gbps upload and download at the same time, just use two protocols.

I think then the "20Gbps Uplink" is kind-of misleading since that kind of setup is pretty atypical.

    For the price it’s fine

  • @rm_ said: And neither the single/multi-core CPU tests worked.

To be fair to him, the missing SC/MC score is because of the way yabs work sometimes.

The actual result is indeed in geekbench url.

Same happens with my bero host VPS which, at most, a hassle for me to open it in browser. Not at all a problem.

  • @eXact your main website is down. none of the verification emails once an order was made is being sent and received. this isnt working very well is it

The main website is down due to a DNS issue which is being resolved right now. I see all emails successfully being delivered.

You can always login to the VPS panel and rebuild the VPS with your own hostname, that first hostname is just for client area identification and your first VPS, if you rebuild that host remains useless.

Yes. Thats where you open a ticket, it requires email verification. You can DM me your email and I can take a look but as far as I see all emails are being sent.

Might as well add ddos protection to few more transport protocols and call it 50 Gbps

This answer is not very professional. Are you saying that you don't know when your services will be back online, and that it could take days or weeks?

Weeks definetly not. But yes even our provider, a well respected LET member does not know when a solution will be in place. Matter of fact all of their dedicated clients in that location have this issue. We cannot speed it up, we cannot find out why no matter how much we tried.

Hi, should be online in a few hours. SLA is best effort so refunds are only if you bought it less then 30 days ago, thats when the money back guarantee expires.

@eXact what is the deal? Your site is completely inaccessible along with the panel to manage my services. What is going on here? Everything 502s and has been now for days.

Client area isn't reachable and your crappy "GatewaySentry" is broken. This should be priority #1 for you and you should be forthcoming about the actual issue and not blame this on your "provider". You also have sent NO communications to your customers at all informing them of issues. Also no information at all on your website indicating issues either.

Pretty annoyed since I have been trying to actually setup my server now and can't access anything for multiple days now.

If this continues, I will be seeking a refund as there should be NO REASON for a reputable company to have services offline for an extended period like this and do nothing to communicate with their customers about why services are down and when they will be restored.

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!

Yeah we are waiting for a temporary server. And what should I do? Get my magic wand and force the servers into magically working which I have no control over? Gateway sentry is not broken, it just has nothing to connect to. Client area will be back with the temporary server, and so will be all your services as you left them. Downtime is on the second day now, and hopefully will end by midday tomorrow. I know its frustrating to not access, I experienced it many times and am experiencing it now myself, but there is not much I can do. If it was our datacenter, our racks, our upstream, our ddos protection yes I can do a lot to resolve it. But if some of those are managed by someone else, all I can do is ask them to resolve it, which they now cannot do because they are waiting for their partners to resolve access to all their servers including the ones your VPS is on.
