Actually ME and PSP are quite important for modern security. Without them you lose significant important features like (proper) IOMMU isolation, TXT, memory encryption, etc. And you can use measured boot to ensure that they haven't been tampered with to add a backdoor.

taskset -c 0 cpuid -1r(click to expand)Note that this VPS is not using host CPU passthrough. In fact, it's using the default QEMU CPU model, so it lacks AES-NI, PCLMULQDQ, AVX2, and nearly all other modern ISA extensions. I've asked the provider to enable CPU passthrough (he's done it before on request) and then I'll re-do the YABS.
18€/month double storage promo
As promised, here is a new YABS and CPU info now that CPU host passthrough has been enabled:
Specs that won't change due to CPU host passthrough (networking and storage performance) have been skipped. Due to the enabling of AVX2, single core performance increased by 47.0% (615 to 901) and multicore performance increased by 44.6% (2029 to 2933). AES-NI, nested virtualization, and various security and performance features have also been turned on. Nice!
