@DartNode @keoir @simo What is the support ticket situation? Seems like some tickets are lingering for weeks.

Trying to pickup the unicorn $99/yr dedi?

Yeah, canceled because took to long to confirm about existence of the dedi in seller account

Transfer failed because @DartNode can't do raincheck in less than a day.
The subsequent response doesn't address our intention. So, 😑

Has the disk I/O issue been resolved for everyone?

I'm still seeing extremely poor disk performance on my VPS. A simple dd write test is only getting around 1.2 MB/s, and fio often hangs while creating the test file.

Is anyone else still experiencing this, or has the issue already been fixed on your node?

Don't waste your time on dartnode - lousy support, connectivity issues and affiliate fraud.

"I've looped in our Accounting team since they're best equipped to help with this. Someone from that team will be picking this up shortly — you should hear back within 168 hours.

for my houston servers nope, i had a 7 dollar houston vps which was working but then it also started having disk issues. I also went through support about it and they migrated my server like 4 times and each time had low disk performance, then they said they would look into it and respond within 48 hours and since then havent heard anything back for a week

Today is the 1 month anniversary of my ticket, not resolved, not even an update. Does not give much, if any, confidence in DartNode. :(

Why are you people not charging back? They do not care about their customers at all.

Title: DartNode checkout stuck in a loop — "billing account not found" blocks both checkout AND support ticket

Trying to order VPS-1 through the standard configure page (US East, Ubuntu 24.04). Get to the billing info step and hit:

"We couldn't find your billing account — please go back and finish the account step."

Going back and re-entering the same info loops right back to the same error. Filled in the form multiple times, same result every time.

The obvious next step would be opening a support ticket — except the support portal requires a logged-in account, and the account itself is what's stuck/missing. So it's a closed loop: can't finish checkout because of a billing account error, can't open a ticket to report it because there's no working account to log in with.

@DartNode — can someone take a look? Happy to provide account name / email / whatever's needed here or via DM.

I brought this matter up with them and they don't know how to fix it.

Which is absolutely pathetic as it's just code.

Don't bother wasting your time. Utterly useless.

    Did you login/register using OAuth?

  • Too good to be true…

  • If you registered with google it seems to be broken.

I won some credits on DartDay, so very little to get back, and that is mostly on the one VPS that works as it should. I'd rather have the services, but doesn't look too good. I was thinking that maybe they don't want to fix my problems because of the winnings, they just want to get rid of me, but as there are others too, I'm not so sure if it's only that...

Just a heads-up for anyone considering the Cloud VPS plans.

I ordered a VPS-1 and completed the payment via PayPal.

Only after the VPS was provisioned did I discover that it comes with no public IPv4 address, and obtaining one requires an additional $2/month.

The problem is not the extra charge itself. The problem is that I could not find this disclosed anywhere before paying.

    I checked:

    • the DartDay LowEndTalk offer;
    • the current VPS pricing page;
    • the checkout process.

None of them clearly state that Cloud VPS instances are IPv6-only by default or that a public IPv4 is a separate $2/month add-on.

The pricing page lists CPU, RAM, SSD and network speed, but makes no mention of IPv6-only service or paid IPv4.

If I simply overlooked it, I’d genuinely appreciate someone pointing me to the exact place where this is disclosed before checkout.

Otherwise, I believe this should be made much more explicit, because customers only discover the additional IPv4 charge after they have already paid.

I’ve opened a ticket with DartNode and will update this thread once they respond.

That’s interesting. In my case, the VPS was provisioned with Public IP: None, and the control panel asks me to purchase IPv4 separately for $2/month.

If your checkout showed IPv4 included by default, then it may be a bug affecting only some orders or configurations. I’m waiting for DartNode’s response.

  • user0990user0990 Member

Update: Completing the KYC verification did not change anything. The VPS still has no public IPv4, and the control panel continues to offer IPv4 only as a paid $2/month add-on. I'm still waiting for DartNode's explanation and a response to my support ticket.
