Sorry I'm not privy to which cc finger was pushing which button when there, it's all cc fingers from out here. Anyway I'm glad you can't agree with something I didn't say so we don't have to argue hugs.
I would have guessed the same but seemingly:
Guess i must have somehow repressed that memory or it just didn't have a lot of publicity. I vaguely remember the time when like no one (even admins) would get any kind of reply.
Must have been somewhat around the time when @AnthonySmith set out to reform LET (i think?). I bet if anyone around here would actually remember more than the last 2 days and their personal top 3 LET moments LET would probably have a fair amount of lore. Very epic stuff like when someone was asked what kind of specs he was looking for an the person replied "debian thx"
A lot of hosts on here are allowed to post offers without even following the posted selling rules
"You must have valid, public WHOIS information for your domain and/or provide proof of company registration on your website (publicly accessible on the website of your country's commerce authority)."
I find so many host domains these days use full domain privacy which blocks low end detectives from being able to do their due diligence.
The scrutiny that new provider tag applications get has never been more stringent.
Any moderator with access to the applications can attest to this.
I bought the sites from Deluxe/CC in January 2020.
I've invested tons of time into the sites since then.
KYB required? I.e copies of business documents, selfie-videos to proof this company is run by a real human?
Selfie no, but it took a bit of time to get approved here. Had to supply proof of incorporation and reply to a lot of questions.
What is insane, is the fact i had to do this shit twice, first for Host Rep, second for Patron Provider.
I dont think you would fall into the category of hosts mentioned prior to biloh's response anyway(although your domain contains OVH info). I did notice that the reviews on the page do not exist on trustpilot, thats, lets phrase that, unfortunate.
Host Rep applications and Provider Tag applications are not the same, some questions are different, and its intended to be somewhat duplicative because, if it happens at different times, we want to re-check things.
yeah i reported a few back when that free vps guy was a mod, he flat out told me it wasn't a rule and i replied back with a link to the rule and i think he just stopped responding so i took the hint.
we're just nitpicking, if the things we were complaining about didn't exist we'd have a different list.
There is an element of KYC associated with the process now.
.BZ does not have public WHOIS, so I have no way to make the data public. You can check our "corporate" domain (3k33.pl) in NASK WHOIS https://dns.pl
Regarding reviews, I will update the website to show up-to-date reviews soonish or get rid of that section altogether. Good catch.
Nice to hear that there is more checking done. I could have sworn i've seen multiple companies with domain privacy and then also complete anonymity on their IP blocks over the last year.
