Refund Request Pending for Over 5 Weeks – Ticket #1258525 – Calling @CloudCone
I am writing to share my ongoing refund experience with CloudCone and to seek visibility on this matter.
Timeline of Events:
- June 1, 2026: I submitted a refund request for my prepaid account balance of $16.00 (Ticket #1258525), as I had not purchased any VPS services.
- June 16, 2026: I received a bot response stating that my request had been forwarded to the Billing team and would be processed within 7-14 business days.
- Today (July 8): It has now been over 5 weeks (more than 30 days) since my initial request. The promised 7-14 business day timeframe has been exceeded by more than double.
What has happened since:
- I have followed up multiple times on the ticket.
- I received no further responses other than automated or generic replies.
- The ticket status remains "Acknowledged" with "Low" priority.
- I contacted Alipay, but they confirmed they cannot intervene in this cross-border transaction.
My situation is simple:
- I am not requesting a refund for a used VPS service or SLA credits.
- I am requesting my prepaid account balance, which CloudCone staff explicitly confirmed as refundable to my original payment method (Alipay) in writing.
Other users on LET have reported similar issues with CloudCone refunds being delayed for weeks or even months, with support going silent or using BBB/Alipay disputes as excuses to delay further[citation:2][citation:6][citation:7].
I am posting this thread for transparency and to ask @CloudCone to:
- Provide the Alipay refund transaction ID for my $16.00 balance
- Or provide a clear, concrete timeline for when this refund will actually be processed
I have all screenshots of the ticket, the bot response, and the follow-up exchanges ready as proof.
I sincerely hope we can resolve this without further escalation.
Thank you for reading.

Chargeback 5 weeks ago.
they are branded scammer.
Welcome to let support, you refund time has been doubled.
To provide further evidence, here is a screenshot of my original ticket (Ticket #1258525), which clearly shows:

As you can see, it has been over 5 weeks since I submitted this request. CloudCone's bot responded on June 16 promising 7-14 business days for processing, but that timeline has now passed with no actual refund or further meaningful response.
I am simply asking for what was already confirmed as refundable: my prepaid balance returned to my original payment method (Alipay).
@CloudCone Please provide the Alipay refund transaction ID or a concrete timeline. I don't think this is an unreasonable request.
Thank you.

Update as of August 5, 2026:
I have received a new reply from CloudCone regarding Ticket #1258525. Unfortunately, it is another generic response apologizing for the delay and stating that the refund request is "in the queue," without providing any specific timeline or the promised Alipay refund transaction ID.
It has now been over 9 weeks since my initial request.
Below is a screenshot of their latest response, which I am adding to this thread as evidence of their continued pattern of delay:

I am leaving this record here for transparency. @CloudCone, if you are serious about resolving this, please provide the Alipay refund transaction ID or a concrete date for completion in this thread.
Regards,
ShaunXu
If refunds are being put in a weeks-long queue, one wonders if they simply don't have the funds to refund customers in a timely manner.
I'd be getting nervous if I had services at CC.
If you google them, you will find that they have had issues paying their outstanding balances on time for a very long time.
And if you read the following replies, there is a long list of people in the same situation, and CloudCone does not care:

I guess people like being CloudConned since they haven't moved on to more stable providers.
Recently, they silently changed my network routing behind the scenes from the Zayo network to a high-latency NTT/Level3 hybrid network without any notification.
