Beloved team pressured me to wait, promised we had a (big, imo) feature also nearly ready to roll out. Update will push today, I will follow-up with tags (and invites for those in DMs already tagged) after we make sure this is pushed and nothing blows up.

    Changes/notes:

    Hey Portal Pioneers,

From the entire team - thank you.

Your feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and tickets over the past weeks have been incredibly valuable. They're helping us shape the platform, and we're grateful to have such a great beta community.

We've just shipped a major update packed with stability fixes and UX improvements, plus the official launch of the Synteq CLI.

    Bug fixes, Improvements, and Updates.

We've resolved the vast majority of issues reported during the initial beta phase, including:

    • Notifications: Login, provisioning, and other key notification types are now firing reliably.
    • Team Management: Cleaner UI for inviting and managing technical and read-only members, with the project-based permission model now clearly explained.
    • VPS Lifecycle: Most (if not all) reported bugs fixed.
    • Networking: All submitted issues resolved.
    • Live Resizing: You can now resize running instances (with restart banner and warning).
    • Support Tickets: Image upload support, reduced rate limiting, increased character limits, and general UI polish for a smoother experience.
    • Profile Pictures: Fixed registration flow so avatars now save correctly.
    • VPS Transfers: Attached block storage now transfers with the instance.
    • Order Flow: Improved OS image selection UI.
    • Dashboard: Now displays your tickets directly.
    • Order Sliders: Added animations to better reflect the text input mechanic.

    …and many, many more improvements.

    Synteq CLI Launch

    • The official Synteq CLI is ready for testing. Get powerful, scriptable control over provisioning, management, monitoring, and more - straight from your terminal. It also includes a full interactive (and fun) TUI mode.

    Install options:
npx synteq, npm install -g synteq, or npm install -g @synteq/cli

    • Run synteq or synteq tui to get started with the tui.
    • Run synteq help to preview cli commands and functionality.

    How You Can Help

We're still in beta, so we'd love your continued input:

    • Stress-test the CLI - Provision instances, manage clusters, run automation/scripts, and push the limits.
    • Re-test previous bugs to confirm they're resolved for you.
    • Report new issues, edge cases, or suggestions.

A little tease for synteq's PP...

Honestly I would've loved to try the tui, but a few issues that I've found that kind of don't let me test it fully. I'll probably include this in a ticket as well just in case, but from a quick initial test:

    • synteq login gives you an error: › Error: Not Found (request id: xyz).

      • synteq login --with-token seems to work, but that doesn't let you use the TUI (see next bullet point).
    • synteq tui with an API key will fail with the error: ApiError: API keys cannot access this endpoint.. I'm not entirely sure which endpoint it's requesting to trigger this error though.

    • synteq order (interactive flow) will error out once you select VPS/GPU cloud instance/etc. with the error: » Error: Flag --category can only be specified once
    • synteq vps:console will return the wrong URL, though this might be the URL returned by the API? https://api.cloud.synteq.com/console/vps/...
    • synteq vps will give you a list of sub-commands, the one for "show" has the wrong description: vps:show Show full details for one GPU Cloud instance. With no id, pick from a list.
    • It's possible I've missed it, but I don't see a good way to list available OS images and their UUIDs. synteq catalog will give you a short UUID in the default table format, but that can't be used with vps:reinstall. synteq catalog -o json will give you the information you need, but it's not very user friendly.
