America Turns 250: Good With Your Hands? Become Synteq's PP

Become a Synteq Portal Pioneer

I'm inviting a small group of trusted people from beloved LE-world to help test our new in-house portal stack before broader rollout.

What?

Our new portal replaces a lot of what we previously relied on outside SaaS to handle, so I'm looking for more than “does it work?” feedback.

I want people to actually kick it around: provisioning flows, account states, billing states, service states, VM/server controls, permissions, API weirdness, security boundaries, confusing UX, things you like, things you hate, and anything that feels off.

Why?

We’ve moved beyond the old Crunchbits single-host VPS model.

Synteq’s new VPS platform is built on a high-availability foundation with distributed NVMe storage, automatic host failover, and optional attachable block storage. That means customers can consolidate what previously required multiple VPSes into one more flexible VM, backed by a faster and more resilient infrastructure layer.

The portal is a big part of making that work cleanly. We are not just reskinning old billing software. We are replacing major pieces of the customer experience, provisioning flow, and service management stack with something built around where I want Synteq going next.

How?

You do not need to find a bug or security issue to qualify for the offer below. What I'm asking for is a meaningful written review after you’ve spent some real time with it.

Good feedback could include bugs, pen-test findings, weird flows, unclear UI, missing features, “this worked better than expected because...,” or “this would confuse customers because…”.

You qualify if you fit into any one of these 3 categories:

  • Donated and participated in the charity thread? Automatic approval.
  • Existing Crunchbits customer with active product(s) and an account in good standing? Automatic approval.
  • Otherwise: truly active and contributing on LET within the last month, at my discretion.

Simply reply here indicating interest and I'll send you invite instructions.

The initial limit will be 25 people. You will also receive a form/guideline to use when submitting feedback.

A qualifying review should be detailed enough that our team can act on it without guessing what you meant. Screenshots, reproduction steps, notes on expected vs. actual behavior, and concrete recommendations are all very helpful.

As a thank-you, anyone who submits a meaningful review per our instructions within the given time frame will receive a lifetime Portal Pioneer VM.

Portal Pioneer VM spec

  • 4 vCPU
  • 6GB RAM
  • 100GB NVMe
  • 1TB HDD Block Storage
  • 10TB Bandwidth

Fine print

Usual promotional terms apply: subject to our AUP/TOS, non-transferable, no resale, account must remain in good standing, and we may migrate the VM to an equivalent or better plan/location as the platform evolves over time.
