Anyone got a yabs from a Canada server?

Can't get it online. I mean I got IP and everything, but it seems like something, maybe Debian template, is broken.

I am curious why? In this current market of expensive memory due to artificial intelligence, combined with low-end monthly payments on these deals, such offers scream to be abused.

I understand the 250 anniversary of US and I honestly wish well to all its lovely citizens (not its leaders and agencies though). But such offers scream to be abused and this provider might end up regretting such important celebration of their own country.

Something is a bit weird here @Tang_Lichun — maybe you can share more info.

    Hi,

We conduct fraud detection on all orders and have enough staff to monitor any misuse or abuse, so there's no need to worry

Besides, we’re also running the Colocation in Irving and Chicago, feel free to support us.

Did you buy HOSTSLIM OU ip's ?
    or just reselling

No, I think this should be a misidentification.

Can I know the price of hardware for colocation? :)

I see in knowledge base "Yes, we do provide IPV6 and its enabled by default. You can generate your IPV6 from your control panel", but can't find it in control panel.
Is it limited just to some locations? What about Toronto?

The server (TX Irving) connection to China is not ideal. Do you have a better data center choice.

    Should have use LG.

I am interested in their colo offer so need to test the real server connection first.

I'm still just getting a very tiny fraction of e-mails I should get. Let's see whether a ticket leads to any change.

Ah, looks like I missed it. Is the deal dead?

Toronto doesn't offer it at the moment; right now, you need to submit a ticket to apply for IPv6.

If heading to Asia the NY server seems the worse. By traceroute it takes the packets across alantic, through Europe and finally to Asia. while your Dallas is much better, hitting the Unicom LA gateway in short time, the matrix is cmparable to the Cogent center in LA.

I hope u improve it and make even better.

Are you able to look into this? @Tang_Lichun
    Ticket #106201

I was originally on an LA Platinum 8168 as advertised, but now it's reporting Dallas, and on a Gold 6152. (over 75% drop in bench results) IP change could why it's claiming Dallas, but the host definitely changed. I'd appreciate to get the advertised service & location on a 8168.

It looks like the LA-1 plan is still set to only 1TB instead of 2TB per panel: Bandwidth limit 1 x TB

Also, choosing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) during purchase (not sure when doing a reinstall) actually installs Ubuntu 24.10 Oracular which hasn't been supported since July 2025.

Open the support ticket for update bandwidth, about OS, just reinstall it via More -> Rebuild

Reinstalling it multiple times didn't help. I've already submitted a ticket regarding this issue and will let you guys know the outcome shortly.

If they don't support it, you can always use https://netboot.xyz for iPXE boot.
