    @crunchbits — First feedbacks:

    • "Internal server error" when at the stage of specifying the address for account registration; account can't be registered.
    • Password requirement is minimum 8 characters - maybe this can be increased to 10 because people nowadays tend to use easy passwords

    @crunchbits I'm going to ask a few questions about testing here in the hopes they might benefit other Portal Partners as well.

    1. I assume it's OK to use the $30 credit added to the account to spin up services to test functionality with?
    2. Is there an actual payment gateway setup that requires testing? Let me know if this is something you want to take offline, but I'm sure we can work something out if you want to test some real payments.
    3. I often make videos to report bugs that are complicated to reproduce. If I find something like that, is a video acceptable, or would you prefer a written narrative?

    1. Yep, use the $30. If need more just ping in ticket--goal was just to make sure everyone could deploy at least 1 thing.
    2. There is--and we have done some of that, but don't use it yet. There's still a crypto integration that is going from test->live as we speak and a few other small things.
    3. Video absolutely acceptable. We built some screenshot features and what not into bug reporting tooling inside the panel, but please give us whatever is best for you on reporting.

    @crunchbits I was playing around with the login page and after a frequent login/logout the login lockout timer gets triggered for me (even after a successful login). Now I'm locked out for 521 seconds.

    Also a very minor nit-pick, invalidate TOTP tokens after usage even if the 30-sec window hasn't expired yet, the backup tokens were invalidated properly tho.

    Improve:

    • Password MIGHT should requiere at least 1 special char or as someone said 10
    • Selecting an address like my office at "Abcd 14" will convert to "14 Abcd" once selected, confusing for Europeans
    • Either i am blind (likely) or i was never asked what OS i want on VM setup

    Pro:

    • Name in hebrew was no issue
    • Address in Russian also no problem
    • Console works flawless and install is fast
    • IPv6 autoconf
    • Recent OS images but not entirely original; not sure what changes aside the login info

    Dont know/Maybe:

    • If SSH key is set is root password login disabled entirely?
    • Console is fixed EN-US(?) keyboard which for us in EU gets fun with passwords or even general use
    • Network to Croatia is abysmal even tho it is Twelve99 all the way to the end. Who knows.

    I have a "do" script i use to spin up test VMs quickly, i will adapt it to this API and use it for some time.
