Indeed veloxmedia is a scam hosting provider. glad they were kicked out from LET and other hosting forums.

Most veloxmedia.co.uk customers have already chargedback including me. Hope you do the same at the earliest.

    Because it's legendary.

I see nothing legendary. I see just another scammer.

Not at all, technically the servers still available and the terms of the contract fulfilling.

This thread reminded me of VeloxMedia. Despite their reported issues, my VPS is technically still running fine.
In November 2025, I paid 5 GBP, but I noticed the renewal price is now 15 USD. So I've just submitted a cancellation request.

FWIW my @VeloxMedia VPS still is up and running fine (and I'm really happy with it).

Are you able to log into the dashboard?

Yes, I just did. And I noticed that the renewal price is higher (about 2.5 x) than the original (clearly not sustainable) price but still within quite reasonable bounds for what I get (2 Gold vCores, 4 GB mem., 50 GB NVMe, 50 TB/m @10 Gb/s).

And "my" panel is fully working (btw with nice features) and displaying full and correct info as well as the full 3 year period I purchased.

All in all I see nothing to complain about.

2.5x price without notice is nothing to complain about?

Clearly, Yes, nothing to complain about.
Kindly note that that (2.5x) is the renewal price sometimes in 2028! That's not a problem for three reasons:

    • They do honour the (frankly insane) original deal till then from what I can see.
    • If I found their adapted (higher) price too high I could simply cancel in 2028.
    • Your "without notice" is not true. Obviously I have been informed about the renewal price, even years in advance (how else could/would I be able to tell it right now?)

And btw IMO it's not @VeloxMedia asking insane (renewal) prices - it was Lewis who asked insanely low prices. All VM is doing now is to enter sustainable territory again.

Did you notice it after randomly logging in or were you informed?

Other than the downtime on Xmas day both my UK servers have had zero unplanned outages.

Nor have I had any price increases as yet or requests for extra payments.

Some people did. 99 problems and all that.

Call it what you want but for myself its the scam summer host deadpool that never happend.

Well, you're one of the "lucky ones". I had also a VPS which would go on until 2028, which pricewise was cheap but I've got other ones for years now with about the same specs for about the same price. Until in January I got a mail that simply said "pay a monthly fee of X (about 8 times the original) starting February. Due date in 7 days." and 1 day later the VPS was gone.

There is a randomization in it that makes it a scammer in my book. Simply because there are still VPSes running for people that were participating in this discussion the same as I was.

But I'm not really bothered by it all; it's a loss, that can happen with cheap deals. And I didn't want to spend another cent to a fraud.

Wow this is still going on???!???

Few things. Yes we run esxi 8 enterprise plus, with vcenter and vSAN and multiple other licenses. Full maintenance agreement until 12/31/2030. Interesting fact, they have esxi8 set to be eol like 10/28 yet our maintenance is end of 2030 so either they change that or give us esxi9 or we get a 8 figure payday. Obviously this is real licensing as you can't use trials in a cluster and they don't give you multiple.

Our 5 main DCs are fully clustered with vSAN and HA. Fully setup to provide 24/7/365 100% uptime forever. Since this is an actual enterprise fully redundant deployment we can take machines offline and anything else without any actual VM downtime.

I get you guys here aren't used to legit providers and actual quality systems. I've noticed this forum is covered with all kinds of scam hosts that are moving VMs to other locations, getting raided, shut down and everything. They have no real redundancy or BC solution, no agreements with upstream and no real solutions. Most seem to not run raid or any redundancy, which makes me wonder how they're patching and managing hardware issues. I'm betting all their hypervisors are loaded with vulnerabilities.

We've launched our backup/snapshot management as well as our vulnerability management. These are just a couple features we don't see anyone else offering. We're continuing to expand on all these resources for our customers.

It's interesting on here because the few people recently complaining their services were shut off were scammers we caught and kicked off. We have a ton of tools to ensure services from one user doesn't negatively impact any others. We ensure no one's abusing the Internet and harming others.

It's odd that theres 3-4 people constantly commenting on this forum about us while dozens are saying they have no issues and everything is running fine. It's important to remember just because someone is shouting and repeating the same thing doesn't make them right. @Saragoldfarb seems to be in love with us, constantly talking about us spreading lies yet multiple times says their VM is working perfectly fine. Iirc they didn't even pay for it. Which makes me wonder why complain if they have 100% uptime on a free VM that's being carried out to term.

To the more recent chats. Lewis sold a lot of subscriptions at a promo rate. These rates expire at renewal. We've tweaked our standard pricing a bit but haven't really raised them or anything. We're still below most others pricing while offering a ton more. No one's service is being cancelled or terminated, as long as users abide by ToS and aren't causing issues for others they're benefiting from all our new features at their promo pricing.

It's important to know that users don't have any obligations to renew services with us. Our pricing is always subject to change at renewal. We offer everything from monthly to triannual subscriptions so if you see a price you like buy it and lock it in. We send out multiple notifications and invoices of the pricing.

We have completely designed and built a console from the ground up. We also built it to integrate with the existing whmcs software to provide a seamless connection for our customers. If anyone has any issues with their console pop a ticket and we'll fix it. We continue to constantly improve our services and features on the console so it's possible to have a few glitches we're working on.

Unfortunately some of the original services in some datacenters don't fit our requirements needed to provide the level of support needed for our growth. Instead of many others who force migrating to other DCs or just kick them off, we're giving users options to migrate to the better DCs or well just keep the services as is, until we can find a solution that fits our requirements and keeps the customers happy. We've removed these products from new sales.

We're also almost finished with an entirely new portal system. This is the final step in removing whmcs completely and giving us ability to manage everything end to end. This is key for us to take everything to the next level, offering promos, contests, community and tons of resources for customers.

Also notice how there hasn't been a single complaint about out team having a poor ticket response or not fixing xyz or poor services. We have exceptional support and services. I get it might not be in the price range of some but we're a top tier provider with extremely low pricing.

So, you think you're not affected by him?
I guess you're forfeiting your right to claim damages as the consequences of Lewis criminal activities:

    • VeloxMedia and Benthost brand damages
    • Losing 2025 christmas and holiday time
    • Being subjected to barrage of conversation (at least 100 pages)
    • Paypal chargebacks

    IMO, you're immoral.

Umm I think it's the opposite. Tons of users on here are saying the same thing. It's just the few not accepting that were a legit provider and have plenty of happy customers. Growing customers and upgrading services.

I know that you are banned again, but since you like to sniff around:

Paid in 2025: $45 [GBP -> US applied] for 3 years
Invoice created in 2026: $8 for 1 month

Specs weren't that fantastic, so in the time that there were $12/year offers around, it was OK-ish.

But again: don't want to spend a cent (or penny or whatever) again to anything even remotely connected to you.

    @vmvmvm

I might regret this, because it might lead to my node seeing higher occupancy: I not only (really) enjoy my @VeloxMedia VPS but I also occasionally benchmark it. And the results suggest that I'm basically on a VDS rather than a VPS.

As for your site/panel, sorry I don't care much about panels, as long as it has everything I need and reasonably arranged, I'm happy. So I'm happy with your panel. But I explicitly mentioned it because I rarely saw such a complete panel with plenty additional stuff.

When reading your long post - and I did read it fully - I wonder a bit why you still act the way you do. I mean, you seem to run (and consistently improve and/or extend) a truly respectable operation (technically speaking; sorry but as a techie I don't care all that much about social aspects); in fact it seems to me that you are one of the not many here who really do not need LET for sales. As for all the yadda yadda about you being ooooooh such a bad guy my take is "let them bring it on, let them try to sue you".

Short version: why don't you just let it go and act with the patience (sadly) required for providers on LET and a truly cool attitude befitting a successful and good provider?
A small story from my life: As a young man I once worked as a doorman at a very "in" and cool night club/disco. One evening a drunk idiot looking for a fight said something intended to insult and provoke me. My reaction "you forgot to mention that I'm also impotent". Why? Because a gentleman does not accept a challenge from a less-than-underdog *g
