In the meantime, without that non-important Romanian guy, all those saved lifes by the antibiotics would not have lived anymore.
However, all the lives ended by some other big important non-romanian guys would've continued to happily live, in lack of so-called "freedom". Or, as per your logic, it doesn't really matter... They would've died anyway at some point.
Don't think that's my logic. The printing press was revolutionary. The wheel was revolutionary. The fountain pen was not. It might even be considered obsolete whereas printing presses and wheels are still in daily use.

I don't have any experience with Romanian providers, however I did fly to Romania to meet customers there once. It was a wonderful experience meeting such honest and genuine people. Visiting Romania was one of the best trips I've ever had.
It's possible that I just lucked out and happened upon a small business of Romania's best, but I tend to assume that there's many other good people (and businesses) over there based on my experience.
I think Romania as a country has some great history and culture. But that doesn't make up for all the shit that is currently happening and has been happening for a few decades now in the country.
There's a great list of inventors and discoveries but that doesn't make up for the shit this country has been pulling for the past 30 years. We're currently leading a lot of bad statistics (road traffic accidents, teen pregnancies, lack of access to education, poverty, corruption, poor healthcare, child labor, unemployment, environmental issues, domestic violence, brain drain) that could be very easily solved with investments way under others that are being made no problem.
Is Romania the worst country? No. Is Romania the best or one of the best? No.
At the current level, Romania is to be compared quite on the same level with India, Nigeria, Indonesia, Pakistan, etc. We don't shit on the streets and throw garbage in the rivers, but we're not very far from it. It's very sad because things could be very different with the proper government and leadership, we (Romania) have great potential.
You weren't born Romanian because, before the Roman and Slavic occupations, you were Dacian. Everyone knows that the Dacians were members of Illyrian tribes consequently, Albanian… Now you're Romanian—something between an Italian and a South Slav...

Me? I may feel old AF, but still, I was born Romanian... have not seen Burebista or Decebalus on the maternity hallway (or have I and forgot?!).
No idea... last time I knew how it acted was when they were still advertising either 1Tbps, 2Tbps, 3Tbps ... 6Tbps of anti-ddos... depending on who you got on the sales team. Have they reached the Pbps now?
